i too would have to say it really depends on the child. my daughter was 7 at the time and she couldn't get enough (but she wanted to get into the hot seat and didn't make it LOL)
Dh and i kept getting first and second place to go next, switching off. The time he would have been in the seat, they ran out of time. The next time we played, i got in!
the question that killed me was this:
"In the comic book Mandrake the Magician, what is the name of Mandrake's partner in adventure?"
all four optional choices were very similiar. I used my phone a complete stranger and the guy had no idea who was calling him or why lol.
to this day, no one i have met has known the answer. of course I won't ever forget it now LOL
Anyone here know it? anyone? anyone? LOL without googling mandrake? LOL
the other questions were like, which disney character is a pirate (captain Hook) which game is supposed to tell the future (ouija board) what was the name of the woman on the first season of the Bachelorette? (wasn't sure, had to ask the audience, but my hunch was right, Trista. never watched it) which book did J. Heller write ? (it was catch 22, got that).
then at 64,000, the mandrake question got me.
but i hate cruise ships LOL so i was happy with my lanyard.
When we go back in Sept, DH and I are DEFINITELY going to try again.
the best part of the whole thing was my little girl shouting "Yay Mom!" when I got a question right LOL.

p.s. oh, one point of interest. if you want to play and you are disabled and can possibly transfer out of your chair, do it. the keypads on the long cables they give you if you're in a chair do NOT react as fast as the ones on the seatbacks. i know it because i did everything the same way for the game before i actually got on, and the thing was so slow it wouldn't respond.
