Am I crazy? I could swear the kids get an appetizer with their meal if on the Dining Plan, but now nothing I'm reading is saying so. I know adults don't get one any longer, but do the kids? If so, do the kids have a special kids' appetizer menu to choose from or do they choose of the regular menu? :confused3

The kid's meal appys are nothing like the regular menu appys. In a nice place it may be chicken noodle soup. Typically it's veggie sticks and dip, or something similar, really not much to get excited about. If you read up on the kids menus, sometimes the kids appy choices are listed.

In oder to offer a "balanced meal" Disney offers apps on the kids menu, often just two or three to choose from, and only off the kids app menu, not the adult menu. Usually chicken noodle soup, grapes, carrot/celery sticks with dip, etc. It's in no way an adult size portion or anything near the types of adult apps.

In a kids pick the appetizer is an item that is chosen from the menu. In a kids complete meal, the appetizer, entree and dessert are all pre-set for a complete meal.

I was a little surprised to find out that adults no longer get appetizers. When I went in 2007 everyone got one, not anymore, only the kids 3-9. Kind of disappointing.:confused3
