Ok, don't attack me for asking this question, but would anyone suggest taking a kid into Pleasure Island? I have never been there, only to DD. It will only be my son and I (he's 9). Obviously, I wouldn't take him into a night club, but someone told me there were performaces in the streets and outside, etc. Would this be a waste of time? Do people take kids in there (I know some probably do I guess I'm asking more if it is appropriate??) Any opinions??? Thanks!!

In all fair ness if you wouldn't take him to a night club then I would pass on PI. It is really a place for adults, not kids.

Now that said, there are people who do take their kids to PI and do go to a couple of the clubs.

I would ask myself this. Would I do it at home? If you would feel confrontable taking your son into a place meant for adult at home, then why not do it at WDW. If you wouldn't do it at home, then why do it at WDW.

We go every year to disney & my kids go with us every where. We don't go into the clubs, but as far as walking around PI,yes they go. We walk around at night and there are many kids there.

I would not bring my DD there, even if I wasn't planning on going to the clubs. It's an adult atmosphere and there's lots of drinking, even in the 'streets'. I remember going to PI pre-DD and DH and I had a GREAT time!, but not a time I would want to share with my kid or anyone else's. Besides that, DD would probably rather stay at DTD building legos, printing Mr. potato Head pictures and getting sundaes from ghiradelli!
