Can someone tell me what the breakdown is for the kids ages & the price groups? I thought that ages 3-12 was one price & then 13-18 was another price? Or is that just for using DVC points? Thanks

You have it right. Under 3 pays the port charges only for the itinerary you choose. Kids 3-12 pay the kid price listed in the brochure. When you get a 13 year old you are paying full adult price, unless they are in the room with two adults. Then they pay the third, fourth or fifth passanger rate which is much less than the full adult fare.

Dreams Unlimited is trying to tell me differently. I have 2 kids, 8 & 12 & got a quote $100 more than my brother=in-law who has kids 5, & 8 with same dates, same category.

Is there somewhere that Disney shows the pricing structure.

I know for points for 2004 that there is a breakdown of <3, 3-5, 5-12, greater or equal to 13; I wonder if they've gone that route for cash as well.

As far as pricing that our travel agency is using...

1st and 2nd person are always charged the adult rate.

Infants pay port charges only. :cutie:

3rd, 4th, or 5th passengers in the room between ages 3-12 are charged the child rate.

3rd, 4th, or 5th passengers in the room ages 13 & up are charged the extra adult rate *running approx $200 more than the child rate for the cruises I had access to rates for.

treloarf - will your 12 year old be 13+ at the time of your cruise?

There is a pricing difference between the 5 and 6 year olds.

Pricing is 3-5, 6-12, 13 and older. At least the last few I have checked for 2005 have been priced this way.
