It had to be hard on you hearing her scream. It is so difficult to know the person you love is in that much pain. I am sorry to hear that she was positive. I have had a pik line and it is no fun. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

I was on swim team so every day in the pool 5-6 hours and then weekends we were spent at meets. Usually rainy in winter,but blazing hot in summer.

I'm holding up OK, hearing her scream so loud yesterday was very disconcerting. She gets very cranky from the pain, but she has taken me out to dinner a lot to make up for being busy and such. The worst part is that her culture came up positive for MRSA. She has to get a pik line installed and go for IV antibiotics every day for four weeks. That means through August 6, we are tied to So Cal. They're not even going to run another culture until after the course of treatment is done, so there won't be early release for good behavior. She wanted to attend a weekend car club retreat in SLO, but that won't happen.

I've never been to Portland in my adult life, but what's a Moho?

We plan on having a late lunch on dessert party day and skip dinner. We have a breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace that that. My nephews also have Pirate's League that day. It's going to be a busy Monday.

I didn't know there was a dessert party at Disneyland. I read somewhere that you can reserve seats for Fantasmic at DLR. Is that true? I'm looking forward to booking Feb. at DL

How far have you gotten with your touring plans? I need to get cracking on ours. We are heading to Universal one morning, but just Islands of Adventure. I am tempted to buy a park hopper just to go to the older park to ride the new Despicable Me attraction. I'll post lots of Universal pics on FB.

The mac and cheese sliders are soooo good. Terrible for you, but so very good. It's fried mac and cheese on little burgers. Have you ever had fried mac and cheese? It's amazing. This dive frat bar on the Upper West Side serves them. My friends and I discovered them on New Years Day as we attempted to put the pieces together of the events of NYE

Thanks! I feel good but the scar is going to be a long one. I'm starting the vitamin E oil tonight. I finally got the bandage off and the stitches are inside and will dissolve. The steri-strips are starting to come off.

We let Chloe stay another week! I'm a sucker! She was supposed to come home Saturday and asked Friday if she could stay......needless to say everyone was on board.

G and J got home last night. G is super sad to have left her camp buddies. J is a boy and he stinks literally. His socks were so rank. Sovcer starts back up tonight so I told G to throw herself into that. They had the best time though. I posted a ton of pics on FB. Of course.

The dessert party at Disneyland is for F! I've never done it but hear mixed reviews. You still have to get there early as you might be seated in the second row and still have an obstructed view. I'm sure Alison can elaborate. She's the queen of the finer things at Disneyland!

I've been lagging on my touring plans. I find touringplans.com somewhat frustrating. I still might buy RideMax as it gets closer. So much easier to navigate. I don't want to have my face in my phone every minute so while I've got the mobile apps, there not optimum for me.

No ADR or resort changes. We're pretty fixed. In fact, I stop looking at the others once I've decided to eliviate changing.

NYE? I still don't have the details and we're 7 months out.

Training is going really well. I signed up for Galloway e-coaching and it's great to have a coach to guide me and answer my questions. And I have a purpose to every run.
Still exhausted from our trip! Lots of laundry and unpacking still but planning to have fun with the kids today. The other stuff will still be there!

That's a darling idea!! I love it! Joshua wants to he Mike from Monsters Inc. I've decided we don't have to be a group anything though DH and I want to be Mr. And Mrs. Incredible. T shirts, black shorts, and eye masks and we're food to go.

Wow, I didn't realize MRSA hangs out so long. That's a long course of treatment. Sending healing vibes.

Thank you, I guess I was non chalant about the surgery, too scared to act otherwise. The doc said he's 99% that it didn't spread. At first he said he was positive it didn't and then he corrected himself realizing that he can't really say that without the second biopsy. Love the waiting game....NOT! If it was bad he'd call so I'm waiting for a letter.

I believe it's August 16th. If I can get work to reimburse me for either the course or flight, I'm in. If not then I can't justify a day trip to the LBC for that much. I'll let you know as soon as I do.

What are you and your sweet nephews doing? They are the cutest boys!

I like the villains idea. I want comfy and cheap though. Cheap is the issue. Gabby's idea was the best: Incredible family. Red thirst with the logo and black eye masks. But Chloe isn't biting.

Tell me more about Ride Max. I've never heard of it!
We used Touring Plans this last trip. The Lines app has a customizable touring plan which was great for us. I listed all the attractions we wanted to do and it calculated the best order to do them in.
