No cleaning got done today other than a little laundry and dishes and of course feeding the animals. Spent about 5 hours at the pool, with my 50 SPF! :thumbsup2 Then went to my friends for dinner. She made some baked chicken cream cheesy croissant thing and it was delicious!!!

Going to continue my book: Fifty Shades Of Grey. It's good. And smutty!

Hope you had a nice Sunday. I can say with 100% positivity that I'm totally not wanting to go to work tomorrow but at least I've only got two days until our quickie trip to Portland.

I have totally decided not to read that. I tried a sample on my nook and it wasn't for me. Too much like Twilight for me.

Pool time and the food sounds great!

My Sunday was horrible. Young adulthood and growing pains. Not a fun weekend.

I'm sorry girl. :goodvibes I think you need some ME time.

It's nothing like Twilight so far. :thumbsup2 I hated Twilight. :scared: This is light erotica. ;) I should be finished by tomorrow. :rotfl2:

:goofy: 103 days until WDW!!! :goofy:

Hey! If you're at 103 then I am in double digits and you are almost there! I had the week from h*ll last week and totally missed it. I bet it was the day she had surgery!

Fran had surgery? :goodvibes How's she feeling?

Yes, you must have missed your double digit dance!! :woohoo: I'll dance for you. Or cheer. :cheer2:

I had a melanoma excised for the second time today. Ahhh....wake up call kids, use that SPF! Three months ago, I didn't have it. :scared1: Feeling grateful. :grouphug:

I'm getting caught up!
I've avoided 50 Shades so far. But I keep thinking i should read it.

She had another debridement. The wounds kept tunneling, so the opened everything up and removed the bad tissue. She screamed a lot really loud today when the doc was poking around in there. Her leg hurts a lot.

Glad you were able to get that taken care of. I spent a fair amount of time in the sun in my youth unprotected. :rolleyes1

Oh that sounds so painful. The poor thing.

Me too.:rolleyes1

I can't believe you had melanoma! How scary! Hope you feel well after the excision.

What's Pirate's League??? What a fun trip you've got planned. Did you decide on staying at AoA that first night? Tell me about the portrait session.......Is the Wishes party private or like Disneyland's which is small but not private persay, there are others with you?

I'm so glad school is finally out for you! :goodvibes Time to take off your teacher hat and out your party hat on! party: :woohoo:

Pirate's League is like BBB. My nephews had pirate makeovers there last year.
I decided not to fly in the night before. So, we still have 3 nights at BCV, 3 nights at AKV, and 7 nights at BLT.
The Wishes party isn't private. It's a dessert buffet before the fireworks. This will be our first time trying it. I'll take lots of pictures. :goodvibes

Definitely time to party. I think my friends and I are hitting Jake's for mac and cheese sliders and beer tomorrow night. There will be many nights like that this summer.

How are you feeling? How is your summer going?

Hello! I'm still lurking off and on and see you are getting very close to the double digits!

 So close. Only 3 days until the double digit dance. :woohoo: How's your planning coming? Your trip is even closer!

I would highly recommended it. It's mindless, a little smut, a nice diversion. Exactly what a good summer read should be.

Me too. I lived on the beach lathered in baby oil. Sunscreen was a foreign word.

Poor Fran, even the description sounds terribly painful. Hope she's feeling better and sending vibes for quick healing. How are you holding up?

Hope you had a good Monday! :goodvibes

I'm actually quite sore. He gave me and antibiotic so I get to be constipated too. The joys of aging. And no exercise for 2 weeks and even worse, no bathing other than a sponge bath for 3 days. :scared1: I love my morning showers. I'm feeling very very grateful I caught it so early. It was a fast growing sucker. :sad1:

How are you? How's the summer? How's the training?

I'm feeling good thank you, grateful. Missing the kids with them spread all over CO and AZ. Tomorrow we're flying to Portland to get the Moho and drive it back here before M's job in CO. Ever been to Portland? We'll have a full day. I'm really looking forward to it. It'll give me a glimpse into our retirement years.

The dessert party is the like one at Disneyland- very cool! :thumbsup2 You guys are going to love it but go hungry!

13 nights is a very long trip still. :woohoo: Any Universal decisions? M decided to bag it, thank goodness. :cool1: I'm trying to figure out touring without the use of late FP and finding it quite the challenge.

Mac and cheese sliders? Is that Mac and cheese on a baby burger? :cloud9: Sounds heavenly!

Well Monday was better than Sunday. Of course that wouldn't take much.

Sounds like some peeps need a butt kickin! Can you go for a walk or something to get some alone time? Don't leave a trail of breadcrumbs- they don't need to follow you!

It would probably be better if I wasn't sick too. There has been a stomach virus going around and I got it. It hit me harder than heck.

My oldest lost her pell grant for having too low of a gpa. I was lead to believe by her that her grades were better than that. I told her she has to find a job.

Oh that sounds so painful. The poor thing.

Yeah I wouldn't wish anyone to have to go through this. I have pictures if you like!

I hope your week gets better.

I was on swim team so every day in the pool 5-6 hours and then weekends we were spent at meets. Usually rainy in winter, but blazing hot in summer.

I'm holding up OK, hearing her scream so loud yesterday was very disconcerting. She gets very cranky from the pain, but she has taken me out to dinner a lot to make up for being busy and such. The worst part is that her culture came up positive for MRSA. She has to get a pik line installed and go for IV antibiotics every day for four weeks. That means through August 6, we are tied to So Cal. They're not even going to run another culture until after the course of treatment is done, so there won't be early release for good behavior. She wanted to attend a weekend car club retreat in SLO, but that won't happen.

I've never been to Portland in my adult life, but what's a Moho?

Um, I think I'll pass.:rotfl: I am hoping it improves too. It has to, my other daughter turns 18 on Thursday. I want to make sure she has a happy birthday.

It had to be hard on you hearing her scream. It is so difficult to know the person you love is in that much pain. I am sorry to hear that she was positive. I have had a pik line and it is no fun. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

Glad you're feeling well. When do your kids return? I bet they're having a blast!

I've never been to Portland. Retirement? You're not going to retire to So Cal or Orlando? ;) How long is the drive?

We plan on having a late lunch on dessert party day and skip dinner. We have a breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace that that. My nephews also have Pirate's League that day. It's going to be a busy Monday.

I didn't know there was a dessert party at Disneyland. I read somewhere that you can reserve seats for Fantasmic at DLR. Is that true? I'm looking forward to booking Feb. at DL :goodvibes

How far have you gotten with your touring plans? I need to get cracking on ours. We are heading to Universal one morning, but just Islands of Adventure. I am tempted to buy a park hopper just to go to the older park to ride the new Despicable Me attraction. I'll post lots of Universal pics on FB.

The mac and cheese sliders are soooo good. Terrible for you, but so very good. It's fried mac and cheese on little burgers. Have you ever had fried mac and cheese? It's amazing. This dive frat bar on the Upper West Side serves them. My friends and I discovered them on New Years Day as we attempted to put the pieces together of the events of NYE :rolleyes1

Any resort changes? ADRs set?

Sorry you're so sore. I hope you recover quickly!
Training is going really well. I signed up for Galloway e-coaching and it's great to have a coach to guide me and answer my questions. And I have a purpose to every run.
Still exhausted from our trip! Lots of laundry and unpacking still but planning to have fun with the kids today. The other stuff will still be there!

Amanda

About to turn the generator off in the Moho or motor home. :goodvibes I'll reply tomorrow. Happy 4th and BIG healing vibes to Fran!
