Your plans look GREAT!

A car would definitely add ease. You could also rent just for part of the trip.

I hope you can get a nonstop at a reasonable price! I've read that the 5-6 month mark is the best time to buy airline tickets.

:thanks: :goodvibes I like them too. I am seeing a nice balance of park and down time, Disney food and ours. I added Boma and Tony's as its just too unrealistic to think we'll spend our last night in MK and not at Tony's. Silly, I know. Same with Boma. We all loved it and being at AKV will make it impossible to miss.

You can't NOT book your favorites. I can't wait to see if your plans end up including a triple split.

Any decisions on IOA? We were going to go to Legoland, but I did some research. The rides/attractions are way too young for my nephews, even the 4 year old.

We're bagging IOA. Are you still doing it? I agree that Legoland is for a very young crowd and perhaps best for kids who haven't been to Disney, kwim?

We'll see about the triple.......:hyper: if we can score CL for 3 nights then we'll triple split for sure.

I'm still undecided about IOA. And I agree with you about Legoland.

I hope you get it!

Boma will cost me $240 before tip. No way. I'll order a bowl of that soup to go. :faint: Room service would be cheaper. :scared1:

Buffets are not the best value. At other TS places, you can split entrees and save $$$.

We're doing the DDP this time and getting TiW. We usually skip the dining plan, but it makes it easier with a group of 10.

Can you use the TiW on meals you use the DDP? For example, on your appetizers?

Chloe and Joshua couldn't eat $40 of food per day let alone in one meal. If they'd eat it, I would have no issue paying. That's just insane to me. :scared1:

Yes, you can use TiW on the DDP. If we get an app or drinks, it'll discount it.

My nephews can't eat that much either. There needs to be a dining plan for juniors.

They should tier it better, say:

Under 3 free
3-6
7-10
11-15
And 16+ can be adults.

It's just ludicrous that. 400 lb man and my tiny 10 y/o weighing 58 lb. pay the same. :scared1:

Years ago there was a restaurant in So Cal called the Claim Jumper and kids meals were based on their weight. I'm sure some atty got hold of that.

:rotfl:

I agree! I bet most guests who travel with kids would LOVE to see an in between child and adult price for kids who are eating more than a 3 year old, but not as much as an adult. I

I'm sure. I guess though that I don't eat as much as Gab at a buffet so maybe I could get a kids price too.

Did you finish your ADRs this morning? popcorn::

:goofy: 23 days until 7 month booking!!! :goofy:

:tink: 58 days until ADRs!!! :tink:

:figment: 238 days until WDW!!! :figment:

:rotfl: I prefer the dessert section of the buffet. I love all of the choices.

Yes, I finished. :yay: I made ADRs for:

Rose & Crown for dinner
Crystal Palace for breakfast
50's Primetime for dinner
1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner
Tony's Town Square for lunch.

We decided to skip CRT. The food is just too horrible to pay all of that $$$ or waste 2 dining plan credits.

Your 7 month booking is fast approaching! Are you ready?

Your ADRs look great! :thumbsup2 We've got a few of the same; Rose and Crown, Tony's, and 50's. I hope you like Tony's. :goodvibes Remember its not going to be like your local NYC authentic joint; it's Disney and geared towards kids. Dogs are theme even. But it's good. A step above Olive Garden. Just know going in and I think you'll enjoy it.

CRT is garbage I agree. :scared: It's not worth the price of a corn dog. ;)

I am more than ready to know what days were sleeping where. :lmao: And M is super sick of talking about it.

I've already made ADR changes. :lmao:
I cancelled breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and lunch at Tony's and added Raglan Road and Yak & Yeti.

Ohhh and I so agree with you about CRT. McDonald's is better and that's scary!

:rotfl2: :lmao: I was wondering how long that would take you. Michael loved Raglan Road. :thumbsup2 He was adopted and doesn't have any of his history but because he loves U2 and Guinuess, he thinks he's Irish.

Haven't done Y&Y TS before. I'd like to try Teppan Edo. My kids love that. :surfweb:

I've read so many great things about Raglan Road. Can't wait to try it!

Yak & Yeti is pretty good. It's better than Nine Dragons in Epcot.
Teppan Edo gets great reviews. Is that going to make your list?

I finally made a decision about the dining plan. For the first 6 nights, when it's just a group of 5 (and 8 on the last night), we're going to use TiW. For the 7 nights, when we're a group of 10, we'll use the DDP. It makes more sense that way. I do NOT want to be locked into the dining plan the entire stay.

It's really really good. Dang now I want to go back. :upsidedow Their bread pudding is delicious. :cloud9: I like the CS Yak and Yeti.

I don't like Chinese that much and Gab hates it. They love Teppan style cooking. Everything I've read about it is good.

Can you still segment the DDP with DVC? Or is it because you're changing resorts?

I  good bread pudding. Can't wait to try it.

The DDP can be segmented. I am not a fan of DDP. We decided to do it b/c it makes everything easier with a large group. And we really don't make use of the refillable mugs. We may get lemonade, but that's it. We make our own coffee. And I don't like drinking a ton of soda.

It makes sense for you guys with a large group and still having younger kids. For us, Disney considers us 6 adults and it makes zero sense. The TiW will work though and I'm excited. I wish they'd release the details on the cost for DVC members. I'm guessing it will be either $75 like for AP holders or the rumored $100. Either way, we'll make our money.

We don't do a lot of soda either but I do like those mugs because my water stays nice and cold. I'm a super ice water junkie.

DDP is only segmented for DVC if you are changing resorts, they cancelled it. With a split though, very easy to do DDP for part of a trip (and book pricier dinners and buffets then!). Logistical nightmare to manage the segments I imagine. Mary Ellen and I did the segments and major issues with my card, ended up with no credits, and then double credits that never seemed to go down, it was wacky! Still though, it was darn cool to do deluxe for one night and spread it over 2 days! Even at one night only it was a LOT of food.

It looks like TIW started officially on 2/1/12 and it's $100.

You guys are there long enough TIW totally makes sense. While we don't save on DDP, we do break even and it's prepaid and makes the kids feel spoiled ordering whatever they want entree and dessert wise without having to ask about a dollar limit. I'll have to evaluate each trip and decide what to do.

Mmmn! RR Bread Pudding is the BOMB!
