Today was a proud mama moment for me. Loren's hair has been long and something he has really taken pride in. At our local community college they had a Locks of Love event and Loren got his haircut. He gave six inches of his hair. They loved him in there. They even took his picture and interviewed him for the school paper. He hasn't wanted his hair touched for years. He looks great and best of all he feels great.

That's awesome! Locks of Love is such a truly worthwhile charity. I bet he's so proud too. It's a win-win for all involved.

How many days do you need at WDW? I think 5 for Disneyland is optimum but it's doable in 3.

I may not be the best parent but I have taught my kids how to be a good friend.

At this moment I'm thinking 7 nights at SSR and 5 at the THV. Chloe and Joshua are set on the THV so at this point, I won't be switching.

The crowds at Disneyland between Christmas Day and NYE are terrible. The park hits capacity. I'd go the week before. Early December is tricky at Disneyland because you've got the CM parties which they don't announce until 6ish weeks before. I think this year they are during the week of Dec 11 which is kind of late for CM parties. You just never know. Disneyland is amazing but far behind the curve with regard to posting the schedule.

You will love AKV. The walk is a huge perk for BLT. I have to sat AKV is just gorgeous though.

I would go the week before Christmas. We did that one year with Christmas Day being our final day. It was perfect. We left the park though by 11 am it was just so packed. The week leading up to it though was terrific!
