There won't be anything wee about my jakeyness, that's for sure. party:

You'll be too happy to scratch your **** anyway. ;) That's a great price! Wish they offered that here.

::yes:: No growing up here either. The saggier my skin gets, the more immature I become. :rotfl:

Jakey's of the world unite and take over :rotfl: will be one wild party my Lovely

If you were want tickets like that at any time I'm sure you could access them through the Complete Orlando website, they're supposed to be for UK customers but don't think they'd care who bought them to be honest:rolleyes1

Maturity has never been my strong point...in fact not 100% sure if I have ANY strong points ;)

:stitch: 76 days until DVC reservation!!! :stitch:

:goofy: 85 days until Disneyland!!! :goofy:

:figment: 226 days until ADRs!!! :figment:

:dumbo: 414 days until WDW!!! :dumbo:

Yes, that was at SSR in a Studio. I'm totally sold on CSR, not much difference in the room from the studio at SSR, especially with the complementary microwave at CSR. For the price, I'd rather stay more nights at CSR. Heck, we stayed for $113.10 on Fri and Sat and $106.60 for Sunday, even better with the room upgrade!! To get the studio at SSR with the AP discount they wanted $195/night.

Now if I could get hubby to go for a 1 br, there'd be no question as to which I'd prefer!!

CSR over SSR? I need to check out CSR.

One bedrooms cannot be beat. That full kitchen does it for me every time. It's not even like I enjoy cooking :lmao: but love having the full fridge and counter space. DH and my middle DD love to cook.

:thanks: I can't imagine WDW asking for a passport or ID to prove you are from the UK.

The older I get, the younger I feel and the less I care about what others think. :rotfl:

:woohoo: We are gonna ROCK Epcot.

Chloe decided on the resort for the 2nd half of the trip. Remember the first half is SSR and non-negoitable. ;) Michael wears the pants alrighty.

I gave her all of my insights into her choices; in a nutshell:

  • stay at SSR, won't have to pack and unpack, totally get to know the resort with so much time, new pool
  • WL: where Jenna and Nate stayed in 2007, cool lobby, close to MK
  • BLT: close to MK, can ride Monorail, went there for the fireworks cruise, Cal Grill, and Chef Mickey's
  • OKW: where we stayed with Jenna et al, fun pool and cool vibe, Olivia's and neat goft shop
  • BCV: Storm Along Bay, walk to Epcot
  • BWV: walk to Epcot, fun boardwalk atmosphere
  • THV: same resort as SSR but heavilty influenced by Walt and we get a 3rd bedroom
  • AKV: view of animals, where we stayed with Jenna et al

After looking at Google images for a while, guess hwere she chose?

OK Toots spill....I'm thinking one of the Epcot Resorts that that could possibly be because if I had a choice that's what I would pick ;):rotfl:

I am going to guess AKV.

I'm guessing BCV so you can rock Epcot!!

All wrong! ;)

Chloe is a Walt Disney junkie so once she learned Walt had his hand in the original THV, she was sold. She wanted to know if he had much to do with the others. The answer was obviously no. She said it would be wrong to stay anywhere else. She is so loyal. Love her! Even after pictures of the Boardwalk, SAB, MK, and the animals, she was sold on the THV. I even told her about walking with her sister to ride Test Track and Soarin' if dad and I were being party poopers and she wasn't buying any of it.

I'm excited!!! :woohoo: The THV were part of my reason for buyign at SSR. Now I just need to figure out which villa numbers sit near the water. We are view junkies. :cloud9:

AWESOME!!! Will you have a car or gulf cart to get you to the pool at SSR? Or does a boat go there?

Can you rent a golf cart? Boat to the pool? Clearly, I need to do some TVH research. :surfweb:

I havn't ever visited the tree houses. But from the SSR map, driving by them, and going past them on the POR boat, they look so secluded from the rest of SSR. Not sure if you can rent a golf cart or not for SSR? There were alot of golf cart crossings from the golf course there. I know at Fort Wilderness you can rent them when you stay there.

I knew about renting them at FW but haven't heard about renting them at the THV. Maybe I'll ask over on the DVC forum. :thumbsup2 I think the THV are secluded and one of the reasons I like them so much.

They definitely look secluded from the water, I don't think you can rent golf carts but what I have read is that a car is recommended if staying there for that reason. I don't think I'd bother with a car personally, we didn't at FW and it was fine but I can see where many might want it.

Someday we will stay in one!

I'm enjoying your report! :goodvibes

We won't have a car for sure. Hmm......I'm dying to stay there and now that everyone's on board, it's pretty solid.

I'm going to book them at my 11 months and then research and change at 7 if need be.

I hope you get them and it all works out.

SSR is our home resort so with the 11 month priority we shouldn't have an issue. I'm going to do a lot of research though. The golf carts are not available at SSR. Near the water provides some noise from the passing boats which won't bother me or the kids but DH is a very light sleeper.
