It's been super relaxing. I went into work yesterday to plan with my grade level partner and then went to a cheese and wine place in Chelsea for dinner. Today, I'm doing absolutely nothing. Well, nothing except pricing trips.

Oh, and looking for bags on eBags, Coach, and LV. I have a few park bag options, but feel like I need a new one. Or actually just want a new one. And it has to be stylish. If I won't carry it at home, I won't carry it anywhere else. What bag do you use for the parks?


I spoke to my guide about GCV. He said wait lists for all use years are long. I'm trying to decide if I want to just add myself to the list and see what happens.

I think October 2012 is very doable. I'd have more flexibilty if it were Columbus Day weekend, but I can make it work. We are not renewing our APs this year. We're going to just buy new ones next summer in order for my younger nephew's AP to have the same expiration date as ours. So, tickets for October 2012 are already taken care of. The wheels are already turning regarding resorts. GF and BC/YC are on my list. I'd love to try the WL, but I'm afraid it is just too rustic for me.

Oh, and I'm looking into Disneyland for 2012.

Not a huge fan of the WL. The rooms are really dated; hunter grren with wood trim. Me no likey. I'd stay there during the winter holidays, like every other person on the planet. It's amazing, like the GCV, during the holidays.

I agree, they are ridiculous. That's why we are are arriving on a Sunday and staying through the following Thursday; we only have one weekend to pay for. The points though for SSR don't vary that much between weekend and weekdays during our time frame. 35 for weekdays and 39 for weekends but with 12 nights, I need to conserve where I can. This mega trip will cost about 428 points. Holy crap. That's for 12 nights at SSR/THV in a 2 bedroom.
