As soon as our miles post I'll get serious about booking unless a cheap flight comes up and then we'll transfer other miles. I'd like to use the SW ones as I got the card specifically for the miles. I've got a month though before the miles post I believe.

Two standard at Pop are cheaper. But AoA looks so much cooler. And it's new. :cloud9:

Ooooo.....recovery mode. Jealous!

Have you been tracking flights from SLC to MCO? I hope your miles post soon.

I agree about AoA. I love that it's new. The family suites look amazing.

It's Tuesday and I'm still recovering. :lmao:
The people you meet late at night in NYC are, well, interesting...;)

I have. Kayak is my BFF when it comes to vacation planning. :lovestruc Those daily email alerts have saved me a fortune over the years. :thumbsup2

The newness of AoA is a huge selling point for me. I like new. I don't like dingy. I'm not saying Pop is dingy but it's used for sure. It was my Value choice before AoA.

Still recovering. G-d, I'm jealous!

:tink: 20 days until ADRs!!! :tink:

:figment: 202 days until WDW!!! :figment:

I'm so far from being ready for my trip it isn't even funny. I've been sick since sat...like, I can't sit up without my head feeling like it's going to explode sick. Today It's a little better since it's moved from my head to my chest.

Oh crap, when do you leave? I hope you're feeling better fast! Can the kids help with anything? Can DJ help you pack? I know, silly, a man packing. Have you gone to the doc? Can you get a fast acting antibiotic?

I'm super stoked!!! :cool1:

Did our BCV waitlist come through? I don't know how quick I'd be to give up that BW view. :cloud9:

No word yet. If it comes through, good. If not, I'll still be more than happy with our BW view.:cloud9:

Guess what? Just checked park hours on Disney's site & they are posted!! I checked for 10 days starting on Sat. Oct. 13th!:thumbsup2

:woohoo: Woot woot. I booked the AoA so let's start planning for the 14th. :thumbsup2 It's DHS EMH that Sunday night. RnR!!! And the Great Movie Ride. :cloud9: And a 120 minute wait for TSMM. :lmao:

My kids love JetBlue. I only wish they had Disney Channel in addition to Nick. :confused3
I'm having complete resort meltdown for marathon weekend. ;)
We also tend to use the kitchen when we've stayed in a villa.

:lmao:Yes, there will not be any fastpasses left for TSMM by the time we get there!

Emma was too short to ride RnR on our last trip & she was heartbroken. She should be tall enough by our August trip, and I'm sure she'll be thrilled to ride it with Gabby!

I  Kayak!

I don't like dingy either. I like new and fresh. And I love the white spreads Disney is using at some of their resorts. I hate those hideous patterned bedspreads that feel like sandpaper.

:rotfl: I slowed my recovery last night. I went out to dinner with a friend and had a Manhattan Bay Breeze. It was some frozen mixture of pineapple juice, run, and Ciroc. It was delish.

What did you book at AoA? Did you book a specific section?

She should be tall enough now. She looks like she's grown 2 feet since we saw her last! :cutie:

Have you heard about the new FP return rule?

We booked Nemo. We'll get enough Lion King at AK ;) I'm a little worried about staying in a Value, even a brand new one. I have become a hotel snob and so have the kids. But I figure it's new so it can't be all bad, right?

Kayak is my BFF. :cloud9:

Just now recovering? :scared1: :lmao: Details lady!

Kayak used to be my BFF, it's been relatively unhelpful for this trip and so far for Oct so I'm only looking at Yapta.

It's one night. I think you will live.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: Thanks for the reality check! :rotfl:

What's the difference between Yapta and Kayak?

My counter is off. 199 days until WDW according to their site. :woohoo:

The Nemo rooms look amazing. I think Cars is my least favorite. I don't like the colors.

I'm a hotel snob too. :lmao: DVC will do that to you!

I plan on sending you a recap tonight. I'll finally get a second. Tomorrow is our school auction, so it's been crazy all week.

I've starting planning for August 2013. I think it's a disease. :rotfl:

It's a total disease. :cloud9: Not sure I'd have it any other way. :lmao:

The kids will definitely love it. It looks like it's going to be a step up from the other values in terms of design. The space is the biggest issues for me when it comes to the values. Maybe I'm just used to DVC villas.

:rotfl:I agree! I have to look at my Disney plans a year to a year and a half in advance. This August is set and our experience will determine what we book for next August. This will be our first stay at BCV and AKV. If we like them, we may do a three way split every year to get the best of all three resort locations. I've thought about spending a night or two in a Fort Wilderness cabin to get in touch with the rustic side of me that doesn't exist. Maybe a couple of nights at the Wilderness Lodge would be better. :lmao:
I am booking the Grand Californian this weekend for Christmas week. I'm sooo excited about that. And because we're planning on WDW in August and possibly October, DLR in December, a possible spring WDW trip and our usual trip in August 2013, we may get the Premier Pass. Water parks and Disney Quest is included with that, so I may have to adjust August plans.

How is your planning coming along? Is your ADR list done? When do your kids start spring break?

I hear on the space but it's only for a night. The pool is supposed to be the biggest at WDW. No slide but the kids will dig the kitschy big bright Nemo icons for sure. Plus I have to admit, I love a good food court and I've read this is set to be a good one. Perfect night for pizza or whatever the kids want. We'll swim and hit the hay early.

I'm so excited for you booking the GCH. It's gorgeous. The rooms are not huge though so prepare yourself.

Sounds like the premiere pass is the way to go with that many trips. :thumbsup2 you'll saved bundle. Plus it soles with all of the options for WDW if you do any of the water parks etc....

You, in a cabin? :lmao: I'd stick with the VWL or the THV but a cabin? Please girl.......;) But I'd like pics if you do. popcorn::

We're planning on The Turf Club, Saana, 50s or Sci Fi, Rose and Crown, maybe Boma, Be Our Guest, the CS at AoA, cooking, and F&W. :cloud9: I actually really like our choices and mix of Disney and real food.

Jenny took the words out of my mouth. :rotfl: Actually I swear I posted about it this morning but must have just previewed and not hit submit. I really hate it when I do that!

THV if you want that remote camping feel but with a much nicer living space.

You'd hate the cabins honestly...too remote, too quiet, not resorty at all. They are darling but also small...double bed and double murphy, and only one bathroom.

Interesting update on my PTR ladies...stop on by!

We're actually staying in a Cabin for 2 nights post-cruise. :confused3 I'm worried that my DH will hate it but it's only for a weekend.

I'm hopping over right now! :hyper:

Cynthia here who posted above liked them. I bet he'll be fine. Where are you going on your cruise? I have yet to try a Disney Cruise and I'm just dying to. Maybe in 2014. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping Be Our Guests starts taking ADRs soon. I'll be eager for your report on it.

We're all branching out. This whole AoA thing is worrisome but it looks fun. I found this video today:

We loved it the Cabins. I'm just giving Gussy a hard time as they don't seem very "her". :rotfl: I have a whole trip report about the Cabins, link is in my siggie (How EMH saved our trip). Happy to answer any questions you might have, my kids would go back to them in a heartbeat and really our only issues were that it was tight for 6 (and 4 of the 6 being adult sized) and the double bed factor. Other than that we loved them.

I hope it's open, dates seem fuzzy like it might be soft opening while we are there but I'd love to go there. We do need to firm up our ADR plans shortly ourselves! We've been too busy looking into the Chef's table at Citrico's and have largely ignored the rest of our planning. :rotfl:
