Not that I am aware of - no wireless, just wired in the room.

WDW resorts do not "officially" provide wireless connections. You may get lucky and find some wireless connections here and there, especially at the convention center resorts. DVCMembers also do not "officially" receive free wireless services, so you may be charged for their use if you log on using your room key.

It works great. I brought a Netgear N300 earlier in the month and was set up in a matter of minutes. Everyone in the villa could access it.

The wireless might be from guest's personal wireless routers left unsecured. My daughter was told by another guest that there was wireless in the lobby, yet when she went down and tried to use it, there was nothing available.

i do remember signing in with some kind of room no. or DVC no. unsure about the details, but was not charged. Even inquired at Front Desk when I had a problem with the wireless. They were able to help me right away.

Just take your nook and try your luck!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I can't believe it but my Color Nook cable to recharge it died last night!!! What are the chances. Plus I ruined a pair of contacts yesterday Hope I can get a new cable for it at a Barnes and Noble near Disney.

I am sitting in the lobby of the Boardwalk right now, posting this message via a wireless connection. My DH is sitting next to me & he connected as easily as I did. There was a button to click that said "Disney Guest". We were not able to do it at OKW, but were told wireless was available at BWV, GF, & Contemporary. And maybe BCV but not sure.
