When we first started making plans for the trip it was Me, Husband and 2 grand children 18 months and 6years of age. Then after we booked the kidani studio my daughter decided to go. Now I will be fostering my niece. We will not know til mid June when she will be placed with us and the trip is mid July. It could be the end of June or end of the year that she will be placed. I do not want to change our reservations because we are already planning a trip to WDW in 2019 and 2020. If we move to a one bedroom now and she does not get place to the end of the year then we will be spending another 171 points that was not necessary. We are staying Savannah view for the grand children and my husband does not want to move because its their birthday trip they were born mid July 3 days apart. Could we have her stay with us in the studio with an air bed. As far as fast passes go we will be getting rider switch passes for most of the big rides so she will be included in those but for the rides the 18 month old can do one of us might miss out. Is it possible to put her on the room reservation it would be 4 adults 1 child 1 infant?

That is over the occupancy limits for the Kidani studio. While the studios in some resorts now have a Murphy bed for a 5th person, Kidani does not and officially sleeps 4 (of any age) plus an infant under the age of 2. A portable crib similar to a Pac 'n Play is provided for the infant.,

For a party of 5 plus an infant, one of the adults or the 6 year old will not be registered to the room. That means no EMH, no room key/magic band, no fast Passes at 60 days, no Magical Express, no other perks/benefits that relate to having an on site reservation. If you are reported, you may be asked to leave or pay for a villa (if available) that allows 5 + an infant.

AFAIK, Disney does not routinely do bed checks. I am going to close this thread because occupancy issues tend to be controversial and bring out the worst in some posters. Those who wish to discuss occupancy further may do so in the

Occupancy Thread
