Kidani room/savannah locations

Hi! We are staying at Kidani 7/11 and hoping to get some information from everyone. Is only the sunset savannah open at this point? I wasn't sure if I read that there were some room open to the left of the lobby which is pembe sav-which i thought wasn't opened yet. i just wanted to make sure if one would see as many animals if you were to the left of the lobby since that savannah is not fully open? Thanks for everyone's help with this!!

I'm pretty sure it's just Sunset Savannah at this point. At least it was when I was there a month ago.

Just got back last night and only Sunset is open at this point.

We had reservations for a 1-bedroom on May 31. Due to a lack of rooms, we were bumped from a 1-bedroom into a studio in the first bank of rooms to the left of the lobby. That room was facing the Sunset Savannah.

When DW (HsvTeacher) and I were there May 31st. We were in two rooms in one day one was to the left of the lobby. The animals were right in front of us got some great pictures. About an hour after we got into our studio they called and told us they had a one bedroom available so we went to the right of the lobby after walking a few miles and actually changing counties ( I tell the truth ) we were in our 4th floor one bedroom. We went out on the patio and the animals made their over to us and gave us quite a show.

The animals were making their way around all the savannahs. The animal keepers were putting out hay and food so they follow them around. I was worried about seeing animals but I wasn't disappointed. One suggestion, when you make requests ask for a lower floor. Although we had a good view from the fourth floor the trees blocked the view a little. No matter where they put you you will have a great time and the rooms are awesome.

As shown in this drawing done by Monorail Purple&Gold, the new Pembe Savanna is located at the north end of Kidani. It is scheduled to open in September.

As of May, the first two building segments north of the lobby (housing 2nd floor Units 64 and 65 in the drawing) were open, but they face the main entrance of the resort. The third segment of the north wing (2nd floor Unit 63) will face the pool area. It isn't until you get to the 4th segment (2nd floor Unit 62) and beyond that there are rooms that face the new Pembe Savanna.

We were left of the lobby and ours faced Sunset Sav. Very good view.
