Kidani food options?

Besides Sanaa.....are there any other places to get some grub.i

The pool area serves food. I think they have "grub" I didn't get anything from there, but I think they have burgers n stuff. I would see if it's listed on the menus websites.

There are groceries you can buy in the store in the lobby.

And, there is a food court at Mara. You can walk there in about 5-10 minutes, or take any park bus. They also run a shuttle van between resorts in the morning. We used that when we went for early lunch about 11-11:30 or so one morning, it was nice!

We had groceries delivered from garden grocer.

In case you are on the DDP, only snack credits can be used at the pool bar (chips, bottled water, soft drinks). The sandwiches served there are not included as a CS meal.

Pool bar at Samawati Springs pool area at Kidani is called Maji and it serves a fairly reasonable selection of food. Just remember that Mara is at Jambo House and NOT at Kidani.

Yes....funny never really wanted to stay at AKV....but being that Kidani is so new and the water play area sounds great....I am psyched.

We were able to order DS11 a pizza at the Kidani pool bar. The pool bar uses the Room service dining/private dining to deliver the food, as I recall. The cm at the pool bar will give you a number to display at your chair at the pool area, & then your food will be brought to you when it is ready.

Really? When we were there last Dec. the sign indicated that a CS credit could cover XXX.

Interesting, I never heard they changed that. Wonder why Disney doesn't indicate that on their DDP brochures? It may not have the seating/set-up of a typical QS restaurant, but neither does the Boardwalk Bakery or the Beachclub Marketplace, but they are listed as QS options.

Okay, I just dug out all the papers we got when we checked into Kidani back in August (I save way too much stuff!). On the "Morning Report" sheet I got, under the "Current Advisories" section, it states that the Maji Pool Bar is considered a Quick Service dining location! Too bad I didn't look more closely at that when we were there. We could have saved ourselves a trip to The Mara!
