I wanted to find out what ya'll do for getting the kids excited before a trip to universal? Our 1st trip is in April, and wanted to get the kids involved in something to count down the time from now to we leave. Your suggestions an ideas would be great!:thumbsup2

I am not sure how old your kids are but when we had our first big trip we were looking for good things to do as well.

We bought a big poster board with Disney stickers (since it was a Disney trip) and we had the girls help decorate the poster after my husband had written all the days on it. Then each day the girls got to take turns marking off each day with a red marker. We had it hanging in the kitchen.

Maybe print out the list of all the rides and each evening over dinner you all can discuss each ride and plan out what you would like to do each day.

We are leaving this week and that is what we are doing tonight. We went three years ago, but it's pretty sad how much you can forget.

Hope this helps a tad. :-)

When I was younger we made a paper chain link and then took a link off each day. I think we will do this for our April trip.
