So I responded in a way does not make me proud. I exclaimed in a loud stage voice,Yeah that's right. I could feel my throat getting dry and my eyes getting teary and my hands shaking. And I just kept on walking right out of Spaceship earth. Never turned around once!![]()
I picked the filet and it was totally awesome.... my meal was super surperb! My filet literally melted in my mouth. I ordered it with the cream cheese potatoes, which were also to die for.
Poor Nicholas, glad he was able to meet up with the rest of you, however. My older son also has all kinds of excuses for leaving younger DS at time
The brutal heat of a Florida summer! We were at Disney July two year ago and the weather really was not bad, but last August was just totally brutal.
Thanks for the great pics of Epcot. The Siemens lounge? Did not know about this, too bad I don't have connections. Do you have the link to the pics of the lounge, would love to see!
No! I don't want it to be your last 24 hours at WDW!
Your second ride on SSE sounds far more enjoyable than the first!
I hear ya about the heat! There were some days when I felt like I was trapped in a boiling furnace!
An afternoon at the CSR pool was an excellent idea!
Last 24 hours??
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
LJ looks so cute on Spaceship Earth.
Crocs melting to the pavement, YUCK.
MEK, I think your meltdown was pretty minor compared to some of the reports of what others have witnessed! Everyone reaches their breaking point at some time, I think you handled yourself pretty well all things considered!
I put DH's phone through the wash once...yep, it was toast (although the flashlight feature worked just fine...if you needed it on all the time) The irony of it was that about 2 months before that, Greg was snowblowing the driveway and must have had it clipped to his belt. He didn't realize that it had come off until he got a glimpse of something in the pile he was building, it was his phone case. He had to come inside and get a flashlight (it was at night) and used it to find his phone. He didn't find the battery until the snow melted in the spring but surprisingly, he was able to purchase a new battery and cover and the darn thing still worked. (until the washing machine incident
) Of course he blames ME for not checking all his pockets. He does a much better job of emptying them himself now
Yes, you were very nice to get the older boys FP's...not sure I would have![]()
Ahhh that Croc melting heat!!I know exactly what you are talking about!!
I have gone three times in August and I liken it to the winter in the Northeast when you go outside and it is so cold that it takes your breath awayit seems the same in Florida when you first go outside after being in the air conditioning. Like going head on with a gigantic blow dryer. On high!!

I loved reading about the meltdown on spaceship earth- Finally!!!When you told me there were 2 words involved I kept thinking either 'Sit Down' or 'Shut Up' So I was on the right track! LOL Good for you speaking your mind! From what I read it was definitely necessary

Gosh, ME, what a stressful time! I hate when my DH "scolds" me in public... if I did the same to him there'd be a lot more said to me than "shut up!"
They can dish it out, but they can't take it!You must've had your fill of all the testosterone by the end of the trip!! Ha Ha!
Anyway, I love the photo of SE with the gorgeous flowers in front of it!!

Okay... I was behind. And now I got to read the meltdown. And now I know what a meltdown with teenage children will look like. And that everyone seemingly has DH that clueless!
First off, sorry I haven't been here in a few days, real life got in the way.
LOVE the smile pictures!!!! Awesome picture of you, son and LJ also!! Your younger son seems like such a gentle spirit!!
LeCellier looks great and I can't wait to try it! Great pictures of the boys!
Hmmm, I hate to say it, but that wasn't much of a meltdown!! You showed absolute fantastic resolve in only yelling shut up! I hate when someone feels they have to lecture you, even if it just your name they use! You did good holding it together!! Kudos!!
Love all of your epcot pictures and I would really love to do the Behind the Seeds tour also! I think I would much rather do it in the cooler months, however.
Oh yea. Two questions please. Where were the gnomes? So cute!! Did the boys like their t-shirts?
Looking forward to more!!
