LL/Cabins Dues Logic

And what will be more attractive to them? Pick either LSL or CFW or look at this amazing new combo resort we have?
CFW benefits from having LSL. I'm not sure it is as compelling in the other direction given the stand-alone units that are part of LSL, though those are likely to be very pointy.

Personally, I am interested in CFW, but not in LL. If I wanted to stay at a tower with a nice pool, there are many other options for that. If I owned at CFW, I wouldn't want to have to compete with thousands of LL owners for high volume times at the Fort such as October, 4th of July, Christmas, and New Year's. I think that the competition will be difficult enough just among CFW owners for those weeks, so adding thousands more just adds to the issue. It's also why I think that prior advice that Fixed Weeks may be the way to go at CFW is pretty solid.

I also agree that a DVC member Pros/Cons list about a combined resort has nothing to do with how DVD will view the idea, but I am curious to know what everyone else thinks about it anyway. Personally, I hope it's combined so I pay less dues on my CFW contract and so I can swim the lazy river without jumping the fence incognito.
We are on the opposite side of the coin as you. Planning on purchasing LL but only if it is a stand alone property. We have no interest in the cabins and don’t care to subsidize the dues. I also think if the 2 properties are sharing amenities could be disastrous.
