KFC got bought out by some other conglomerate and their quality/consistency has been terrible ever since. Stopped eating there a few years ago. They either don't train their workers or the new owners seem to have other things be a priority. One location might be good, but then you go to a different store and the chicken is poorly cooked, greasy or the breading is gloppy. The main advantage of a chain restaurant is the consistency from one location the next. If you don't have that or don't care, then people just stop going there.
