KFC isn't great over here. Kinda hit and miss. Can be nice, but can be grey and nasty. How does it fare over in America?

My personal opinion - used to be very good most of tine now not so much - personally I think it’s outrageously expensive I can go to the store and get fried chicken it taste just as good for a quarter of the price of what KFC charges such a shame because when I was a kid it was a big deal to get a bucket of chicken because it was delicious plus all the fixings with that being said I have not had it in a long time because the last few times we got it it wasn’t worth getting

Absolutely disgusting. Would never go there even if the food was free. There are WAY better fast food chicken places to go to in my area.

KFC got bought out by some other conglomerate and their quality/consistency has been terrible ever since. Stopped eating there a few years ago. They either don't train their workers or the new owners seem to have other things be a priority. One location might be good, but then you go to a different store and the chicken is poorly cooked, greasy or the breading is gloppy. The main advantage of a chain restaurant is the consistency from one location the next. If you don't have that or don't care, then people just stop going there.

And the Arizona winds don't like it... check out kyma Yuma TV...winds blew down the bucket... anyhow 4 different chains on the same street selling chicken... competition means nothing!!!!

I agree with you and others - used to be really good, but hasn't been for a long time. See also, Wendy's.

The only thing that's ever been worth it is the mashed potatoes and gravy. Yes, it's powdered crap, but it's so good.
OMG! Their mashed potatoes and gravy! I love that stuff. That's like the ultimate comfort food for me. I know when I had chicken pox (at the age of 24), that is the only thing I would eat.

That said, it has been forever since I have been to a KFC. I am not really a fan of fried chicken (mostly b/c it is messy and takes too much effort to eat). I remember those "chicken little sandwiches" though, I really liked those things.

I loved KFC as a kid! My babysitter's sister worked there, and would bring leftovers when she closed - so much fun!!

Like a lot of things, it doesn't taste quite the same now, but our local one is still "OK." I get it once in great while.

Not a fan, never have been. When I was a little girl we would get a bucket meal deal thingy maybe every 3 months or so because we had a lot of people to feed. Five boys and one girl plus Mama and Daddy so we could eat for pretty cheap. Obviously it was never a fan favorite since we are from Georgia and Mama could fry real southern fried chicken like no one else but sometimes on pay day we would splurge. I haven't eaten it since I became an adult, maybe 40 years. If the in laws insist on getting it, I'll eat the sides.

Never was a huge KFC fan (grew up with Popeye's and a couple other local places.) there was a KFC on the other side of town. Moved to TN, and there was one close by w a buffet. That was actually pretty good, did that a few times, but then that got bad, and it closed> haven't been back to a KFC in probably over 10-12 years. Never ever seek that out when traveling.

Got food poisoning there the second day I was in CA years ago (as in 1996) . Haven't had it since.

KFC in N. Mn. in our town is awful. I mean terrible. It is dirty, poorly managed, and they once gave my Mother a half eaten!!! dinner from the drive thru window. Didn't find out til we got home!
It's really sad that it has gone that way. Years ago it was clean and well managed. It was always busy. Now you can shoot a cannon through it.
