Keys to the kingdome tour?

although I have no idea what bahn mi is, but could be interesting
Banh mi is a classic Vietnamese Sandwich. It is a pork sandwich and banh mi is all about the bread, a good French baguette. Our friend said it was quite tasty.

Found the item in the Tomorrowland Terrace menu on allears:

Pulled Pork Banh Mi Sandwich - Asian pulled pork with pickled vegetables and a spicy sriracha aioli served with apple slices or house-made chips $11.29

Sounds pretty good!

DH and I did the tour a few years ago and had a fantastic time. It is a lot of walking/time on your feet, but it was worth it.

We did this tour in November of this year.
Kelvin was our tour guide.
When not giving tours he works in customer service......he told us they rotate who gets to conduct the tours.

We met in the foyer of the theatre as you enter the park.
There they provide you with a bottle of water or soda.
You select the lunch from a list of 4 options that you will get later in the tour.

You get your power pack and head phones.

Off you go.

It was awesome, the history the meaning behind all aspects of the park.
Yea some stuff I knew, but OMG, how much I did not know.

Three bathroom breaks.

Behind the scenes info and ride on jungle cruise.

Behind the scenes and ride on Haunted Mansion........OMG........Excellent.

Then the best part......

The under Magic Kingdom.......from walkways, to descriptions of memorabilia posted thru out.

My husband and I enjoyed this tour so much, and we think our tour guide Kelvin had a lot to do with it.

Enjoy, we did.

Safe travels.

for those who have done this one (the $99) what is your opinion?
is it worth the price and also I am assuming you also need a park admission ticket as well as the price for the tour? any feedback would be great, thanks

My dh did it alone as I had other plans and he said it was the best tour he's done here. So good, we plan to do it together. Well worth the price!

Is most of the tour inside or outside? I'm booked on it for early February when it may be cold, and I'm thinking ahead to how many layers I may need to wear that day.

It’s outside except for the rides - our tour included JC, HM, and Tiki Room, and the Utilidors. Lunch is on the Tomorrowland Terrace - open air.

We did the tour in January a couple of years ago, and it was chilly, but manageable. It warmed up as the day went on. You might want to bring a pair of gloves if you book an early timeslot.

Lunch was the worst part because they put the food out ahead of time at Tomorrowland Terrace & it was all completely cold. :( I chose the salad option, and it wasn't particularly good, but it was better than a cold hot dog.

The tour was wonderful, though. I can't recommend it enough.

No hamburgers? My DH is a picky eater & none of the options listed in an earlier post would be something he’d eat, nor does cold food sound good. We’re booked for the 8am tour in January. We had booked it in September when we were there but Irma messed it up.

No hamburgers. Even when lunch was at CHH, no hamburgers.

I think chicken strips were also on the menu.

I took the tour yesterday with my husband (we're here on our honeymoon as we speak! :D) and we loved it! I will say, you get pretty tired by the end since it's 5 hours of walking. However, getting to see the parade floats, utilidors, and behind the scenes areas was really magical. Jason was the name of our tour guide and he was phenomenal. We had a private tour on jingle cruise and we were supposed to have a ride on haunted mansion, but it was down :(. We had lunch at Tomorrowland Terrace in a private area which was nice. The food was actually quite good! As a massive disney history nerd, I was impressed that I learned so much new information (I expected that a lot of it would be things i've already read about). I'm glad to answer any questions if you have them!
What was served for lunch. Was thinking of doing this with my DW in March when we are there....a lot of money, but everyone is very positive. I am afraid it might spoil the Magic....but maybe not ???

EEEEKKK!! This makes me even MORE excited!! It sounds SOOOO good!! and to see behind the scenes at HM - makes my heart stop!!!!:worship::cool1:

I booked our tour for June 2018 last Sunday.....just to make sure I could get our party of 4 in at the 8am tour..

how many people were in your tour group??

how moley.....can't wait!!! :dancer:

Well that’s not great. A hungry man is a grumpy man. Maybe he’d eat the chicken strips if they have them. But to be safe, I’ll be packing some chips & candy to get him thru.

You need a park ticket in addition to the price of the tour. Lunch is included in the price. It is worth every penny.

I didn't find that it spoiled the magic at all! In fact, I found it completely fascinating (and totally worth the money). I think if you get a really good guide, it's outstanding! Guides are assigned in completely random manner, so it's the luck of the draw, but from the reviews I've read, most sound like they're quite good. I went on the tour about ten years ago, and I still remember Matthew crystal clearly! What a sweetheart!

Not sure if its been mentioned, but you can get 15% off the $99.00 if you book it with your Disney Visa or Disney Rewards. Great tour, did it in September 2017.

Do Annual Passholders get any more of a discount than Disney Visa Card holders ????

We did the tour last month. It was awesome!! But it was a lot of walking and standing. Plenty of bathroom stops but no time, other than lunch, to sit and rest.

It's a great tour! Our lunch was at CHH and it wasn't very good. The tour was fascinating though.

Try to get the first tour of the day. We had the second and we were stuck behind someone on a scooter in the first group. We kept catching up to them and had to stop and wait. We missed doing a second attraction because of the hold up.
