I was actually going to ask -- we're doing this in February. I need a scooter, though -- I can transfer and walk for rides but not all day. I don't want to hold everyone up -- I'm kind of suprised that would happen, scooters move pretty fast -- but no way around it.

Don't fret over the scooter... our group had a nice lady in a scooter and it only slowed things down a tiny bit when entering/exiting the tunnels (she used the elevator, while we used the stairs)... The rest of the time everything was very accessible for her and I didn't notice any slow down overall.

I've taken multiple tours on a scooter, and without years back (including Keys without and with, a number of years apart). Did not slow things down at all. As said in the post below yours, the main group used the stairs, I used the elevator. I beat them, haha. Enjoy the tour.

We had the exact same experience (were we on the same tour?). The one woman in the scooter was new to using the scooter, but it didn't hold us up at all.

Definitely book early. No openings for our January trip. I will keep trying since folks can cancel 2 days prior, I think.

Super excited cause I have the tour booked Saturday January 20th at 8am for my mom & I!!! Little bummed the food location changed, but oh well. Try something new! Really looking forward to it & glad to hear positive reviews. I have done the Behind the Seeds & Wild Africa Trek which were both great!

I have done it 3 times. I loved it that much. Each time I learned something new. Depending on the CM some of them will give you different answers depending if you are on stage or off stage, so keep that in mind. Sometimes they will hint you (ask me again in 25 minutes) and sometimes they won't.The concept being on stage they will only give you the official answers. Backstage they will tell you anything you want to know unless it's Disney IP. So make sure to ask anything you really want to know about when you are backstage (behind splash mountain or in the tunnels).

really, really depends on the CM you get. I have been lucky enough to get CM's who know a lot of Disney history and lore.

I would say 11-11:30.

Well, I got in!! I called every day to see if there had been cancellations and YIPPEEEEEE!! Got in for a 9:30 tour!
