Has anyone done the keys to the kingdom tour? If so, what was it like and is it worth 58.00

I definitely think it's worth it. We really enjoyed it. Our tourguide was Mark. He was very knowledgable and kind.

We started out at the little garden beside City Hall. They gave us headsets to listen to the tourguide with. That was a huge help so he could talk in a normal voice and we could hear everything.

If you've been before and are curious about how things work, then definitely worth the price!

This tour is spectatular and well worth the price. It will give you more background information on the history of WDW along with the operation. It is a great tour.

We 100% *ADORED* this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone! You *MUST* go on it!

Might be the best tour in Disney.

We did KTTK last October. Rae was our Guide. It was fantastic. It's a tour and Disney history lesson rolled into one. Well worth the price.

KTTK and the Segway tour in EPCOT are the best!

I wish they would have done this for us when we did it 3 years ago. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the best, I would have given the tour a 7.5...

We are doing the Dolphins in Depth in a few weeks and are looking forward to that!

When was your tour? I think ours was in 2004, if I'm not mistaken.

We called and made our reservations today. Now I only have to wait until the middle of June to go. :sad2:
I have heard nothing but good things about this tour. We are really looking forward to it.

Another thing they gave us was a bottle of water to carry with us during the tour and coffee or soda (I think??) to start the morning with. :thumbsup2

At the lunch break they gave us the KTTK Pin.

We took ours in July 2003. They must have changed over to the headsets shortly after our tour.

Got any info. on the Dolphins in Depth?

Well I think the BEST tour at Dinsey is def the segway tour in Epcot. We did the KTTK tour before we did the Segway one. It was ok but for someone like me who knew alot of the trivia/ history etc it was a little boring. DOnt get me worng we still had a fun time but we just didnt learn that much. The headsets were very nice to have on this tour as well!! If you are interested in trivia etc.then you will enjoy it.

We enjoyed this tour when we did it. Our Tour Guide was Geoff, very knowledgeable and very nice. :thumbsup2 It's a long tour, I think it was about 5 hours. You see a little bit of behind the scenes, which was pretty neat. We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House, all arranged ahead of time. They took our lunch orders before we started the tour. It was kind of special when we went back to MK after that trip and saw the same things but now knew a little bit of the history behind them! It's amazing that we did this about 2 years ago, but thinking back on it I can recall so much of what Geoff told us. Don't forget, if you're an AP holder, you get a discount on the tour!

DH & I just did this tour in Feb and it was awesome! I would like to add that when you book this tour and you use a DISNEY VISA you will get 20% off the TOUR. The CM on the phone told me this little tidbit!! AWESOME!!! :goofy: pooh: :dumbo: :simba: :stitch: :sulley: :hmghost:

I believe AP holders and AAA members receive 15%off.

DH and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Well worth the money. Brick was our tour guide and he did a great job. We did behind the scenes stuff on two rides, Jungle Cruise and The Haunted Mansion. I know this varies by tour guide and I have seen other people have done 3 rides during their tour. The lunch at CHH was really good too.

Did the tour in Sept 2004 and had Rae as our guide -the whole thing was AWESOME. Rae was a real treat. It's long though, lots of walking. I'm looking forward to the next trip (?) when our teen will be old enough to take it.

I think I'd be cautious about taking it though if it's your first visit to WDW. The tour was not on our first trip. We were back again in Oct 2005 and noticed that our perspective on things had changed a bit. It didn't ruin the magic, exactly - but we were definitely now looking at things with eyes that had seen "backstage".

Well worth the money.

I have a daughter 14....are they picky on the age? Could we get away with it?

We took this tour in December and Rae was our guide also. It was AWESOME! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I am going on the tour in April and we all have to bring picture IDs, not just the resort ID. I believe the age is 16 because it is long and does explain some of the magic. As an adult going with my mom, I am looking forward to the fact that kids (well, young children) are not going to be on my tour. Yes, I have heard of them telling people that they can't go on the tour once they check in because someone in the party is not of age.
