Would anyone recommend the Keys to the Kingdom Tour? How was it? We've been to WDW many times, and never gone on any type of tours. Is there one that would be better to do? We are 4 adults (2 early 20's, 2 mid-40's). Any DVC or AP discounts? Thanks!

I did this tour a few trps ago. It takes quite a while, we met around 8am, and finished sometime close to 3pm. It included a lunch at Columbia House, a ride on HM and JC, backstage in the parade storage area (where we also saw a band practicing), another lot behind JC, and down into the underground. Lot of walking but very interesting. Had a great time and recomend it. There is a DVC discount also.

We enjoyed it quiet a bit. And when you factor in the discount (DVC or AAA) and the fact they feed you lunch (that's 13.00 right there) it's not a bad deal. We learned alot and we even got to go below ground.

I was on the tour 2 months ago and thought it was great.

We would highly recommend it.

If you can, I suggest requesting Matthew. He was so fun and really knew his stuff.

There is also an AP discount of 15%. We had Matthew, and he's a cutie. However,
we met Jeff at the Columbia Harbour House, and he is a walking Disney encyclopedia.
We got tons of info just visiting with him at lunch.

I cannot recommend the KTTKT highly enough. We did it in September with Cory - he was fantastic, lunch at Columbia Harbour House was very nice and we learned loads of info. We went on POC and HM. It lasted from 8.30 - 1.30 and was WELL WORTH the money. Go for it!

I too highly recommend it, especially if you are a trivia buff and really into hearing all the background details. We loved the tour and really enjoyed hearing all the little details and secrets.

We just got back a few days ago and during our stay we did the tour - It was great, well worth it!

People had suggested taking a nap after the tour, we didn't take that advice but I would like to pass that onto you!

This sounds like something my sister and I would be interested in doing. How do you know which rides you'll ride? Are they always 'tame' rides so we wouldn't have to worry about motion sickness? Thanks!

Every review I've ever seen says you ride Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise. Both
are very tame.

I've taken it twice. Last time was at 9:30 with Rae. It was great! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone- over the age of 16 of course. We went on JC and HM and it was a lot of fun overall.

WE did this last year with rae, It was great, and as we finished we found a seat for the parade. Perfect timing.

We just did it on Sunday and we road JC and Pirates.

Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

We did it in Oct and had Matthew as a tour guide and he was awesome!
We rode POC, HM and JC.....Can't say enough good things about the tour!!! :earsgirl:

We are doing it in December and I am so excited!

We are frequent visitors to Disneyland and we are buying our guide a gift from there. Is there just one main guide?

I would make them as soon as you can...our tour was pretty full....
We did the 8:30 am tour (MK opened at 9 that day) and when you
go into the park, you can get awesome pictures of the Castle with NO ONE
ELSE IN THEM!!!! :rotfl:
