at the 90day window? earlier/later? Would you recommend it to do solo? (Thinking of a Sat when a friend is at a cheerleading competition w/her daughter). Could I get there in time for the 830am from Pop?

Tours can be booked 365 days in advance. I did the keys tour last October and we booked the 9am tour and had no problems getting there early. We just boarded the charachter bfast busses.

We can't wait to do the KTTKT in Oct. We booked back in June.

Like the above poster said, tours can be booked a year in advance. If you get a CM who tells you this is not the case and has to be booked 90 days in advance (like I did!) call back. Getting to the MK early is not a problem. Buses run early for tours and character breakfasts in the NK. You just need to give your name at the gate if you need to get in before opening. I have never done a tour on my own but have read reports from plenty of people who have. Go ahead, book the tour and have a great time.

i booked our tour in may for our trip in just a couple of weeks. as far as what the tour is about, chanty, this section is from allearsnet.com:

I did the 8:30am tour solo this past May. In fact I did three tours this past May and on each of them, there was at least one other solo. It was great.

As the previous poster said, just take the early morning character dining bus to MK and get in line with everyone going in to CRT or CP. Your name will be on their list. As you enter turn left and check in at City Hall. There will be a name tag waiting for you, as well as a menu for Columbia Harbour House. The CM willl write down what you want to eat, give you a bottle of water, and tell you where to wait for your guide. When I was there in May, Cory, our guide told us he loved the 8:30am tours, because they usually had the fewest number of people in them, so he could interact with the guests more on a one on one basis. There was only seven in our group. He gave us the earphones, but we didn't really need them. Have fun! It's a great tour!

There many solo guest when I went in January, but it didn't mater as we were all one big happy group! Definitely go for it!

FWIW, I just signed up for this tour solo in October. I heard great things about it and it seems fairly common to have solos on these tours (I am going while DH is at a conference). I also signed up for the Segway tour - can't wait!

Don't forget if you use your Disney Visa card to book a tour you can save up to 20%.
