Keys to the Kingdom Tour ?? What is it?

Just read in another post about this tour...what is it exactly?
Has some of you taken this tour? What is it all about? Where can I get more info?

Keys to the Kingdom is a guided tour of the Magic Kingdom. It highlights design features of the park, operational features of the park, and you usually get to go on a ride or two with the guide. You also go "back stage" and in to the utilidor a few times. Lunch is included in the price. I went in Dec. of last year and it was the highlight of our trip. Takes about 4 hours and have heard that people think it is a lot of walking, but we were comfortable and took frequent breaks. I think there is a minimum age of 16 to take the tour. If you have been to the parks a bunch of times, it is a great way to get a different perspective of the park.

The Keys to the Kingdom Tour is a walking/guided tour of the Magic Kingdom. During the tour, you are given wonderful information about Walt Disney, his family, his company and the park. We had a group of about 8 people (8:30 am tour). The 9:00 tour was much larger - probably about 16 people. I believe you have to be at least 16 years old to go on the tour. There is an additional charge for this and I believe you also have to have admission to the park. It took about 5 hours for our tour (which included lunch) - we also went on the Haunted Mansion and POTC. The Allears website has more information if you're interested:

We found this both entertaining and interesting. It was definitely worth the money.

It's a really neat 5 hour or so walking tour of the MK, where they take you to some behind the scenes places, give you all kinds of neat info, and take you through the Utilidor.

It is very definitely worth doing. We've actually done it a couple of times, and heard different things each time.

My wife and I tool the tour this past July and it was great! We learned so much about MK, the way it was constructed and so many other interesting facts. Our guide took us on the JC and HM rides and revealed many secrets about them. At the end of the tour, the guide made us promise and swear on Walt's grave "not to tell any of the secrets revield that day to anybody that didn't want the magic spoiled and espically around young mouse ears." You will learn and see first hand many interesting things, hear stories of the people involved, and how the line in the sky was the one that Peter Pan drew for Tink to follow when she flies. This is a wonderful tour.
