Key West to Old Key West Day 15
Sunday 25th November
We finished packing and checked out of The Sheraton. We love our timeshare and we are so glad we have it. It really does feel like our second home.
For breakfast we decided to give IHOP a try as although we have eaten here a lot in the past we have never been to IHOP for breakfast before. I had the eggs with a sausage, potato & onion scramble with a side of pancakes

and Theresa opted for hash browns, eggs and ham with a side of strawberry pancakes. It was really lovely.

We then drove to Old Key West and were able to check in and found our room was ready for us.

We settled our stuff into room 1427 which was a really nice size one bedroom unit with fridge, microwave and the all-important coffee maker.

We took a walk around the resort and then we took the resort ferry to Downtown Disney and bought Johs peppermint bark and had a look around before catching the boat back again. It was a lovely way to travel and wed like to stay at Old Key West again if we get a chance.

We had a few hours by the pool and while we were there one of the life guards dived in and recused some item of clothing that was lying on the bottom of the pool, not a body. He did get a round of applause for his actions.

We spent the evening in Celebration as we were determined to eat at The Columbia. Theresa had a glass of their wonderful Sangria.

We both ordered our favourites The Paella Marinara

and Theresa had Chicken stuffed with chorizo and herbs and served with yellow rice and asparagus.

For dessert we shared the absolutely delicious white chocolate bread pudding.

The bill came to $66 +tip. It was a truly superb meal and we can whole heartedly recommend a visit.
Snowfall takes place every night from the end of November until Christmas, at 6,7,8 and 9 pm and there are other Christmassy things like horse-drawn carriage rides, an ice-rink and carol singers.

It has a lovely fun atmosphere.

We walked around a few of the shops and took lots of pictures of the kids having so much fun in the snow, before heading home to OKW.
