Key to the Kingdom Tour

We had just an OK experience on our tour last summer. Our CM was nice but his demeanor was stiff. He had a scripted speech in his head and if you asked a question it got him off track and I got the feeling he didn't want questions. He just rambled on and on. It got very boring actually . There was 8 of my family on the tour. Not much interaction with the other tour guests either. Just follow the tour guide and listen to him go on . Maybe he was just having on off day. Couldn't wait to get out of the ulitidors. Very boring listening to he talk about every picture or poster on the wall. We all were ready for it to end. We walked into the piratesof Caribbean then turned around. He said we didn't have enough time after all. That was disappointing. He didn't talk through the headsets on HM which I thought the CM's did. All in all, our group found the day lacking.

This tour is on my to do list one of these years. I don't think I'll be able to swing it with a 7 and 8 year old, but hopefully DW and I can get down for an adult trip and make it.

I took the tour last summer and it's one of the best decisions I ever made - like many people have said, we were scared that it'd 'ruin the magic' of the parks but actually it made me even more fascinated... and made me appreciate the parks more too the amount of detail the guides go into is amazing, our guide was really passionate about her job and guided us through Pirates and HM (Jungle Cruise was closed).

It is a heck of a lot of walking but they try and stop for restroom breaks as often as possible, and stop for breaks in the shade. Columbia Harbour House is also YUMMY and the pin and badge set that you get with the tour is a cool souvenir!

We even got to see the parade performers rehearsing the Boo To You! parade backstage for Halloween

Absolutely. If you are in the park and have time before the tour starts, you are fine taking pictures on Main Street.

Cannot wait to book my tour in 29 days. I'm just as excited to book it as I am about booking my ADRs. Lol
