Key to the Kingdom Charging

Hey all! This option is new since my last trip to WDW as a teen over 25 years ago, so excuse my ignorance. I understand that one can link a credit card to your "Key" for charging thoughout WDW. Here's my questions: 1) does everyone in your party have priveleges with their key when you do this? and 2) does it have to be a credit card, or will a debit card do (we just payed off our credit cards and don't want more debt a la dave ramsey) Thanks for the help!!

well grr on dave ramsey, but okay.. i respect that

1) you can selectively disable it on any key
2) you can use a debit card as long as it has a credit card logo
2a) or you can do it the dave ramsey way and even back it up with cash
