Best place at WDW for Key Lime Pie? I have found it listed on several menus - just wondering who has the best. I owe my daughter a Key Lime Pie dessert on our next trip. Thanks. :goodvibes

we have had it at Fultons and it was very tart and we didnt enjoy it. then we had some at AK Flame Tree, which was much better:thumbsup2

Key Lime Pie is one of my favorite desserts. I had it at the Grand Floridian Cafe in December. I really didn't care for it. It was more of Key Lime Tart. Plus is was really tiny! Now a couple of years ago I had it at Olivia's at OKW. I think I remember liking it but can't remember for sure. It was so long ago. I do remember liking the meal and experience though.

I had a really yummy key lime pie at Wolfgang Pucks Cafe in DTD. Loved it. They also carried it in the Express part too. I haven't been for a while but I see on allears it's still on the menu which I'm happy about since we're planning to go this summer.

We had them at both Sunshine Seasons and Starring Rolls as snacks this trip. DH liked SS better because it didn't have meringue on top and was smoother in his opinion. He's a big fan of key lime pie!

the key lime pies Ive had at WDW taste like they have sweetened condensed milk in them - and I like sweetened condensed milk -

I've never had the "real" Key Lime Pie so I cant compare!

(I've had it on buffets - Crystal Palace, Cape May, and I think Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT may have had it)

We like the one at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. Seems to be the most authentic.:thumbsup2

Drive her 6 hours south and go to the Blond Giraffe in
Old Town Key West!:cloud9:
Seriously I cannot eat non "REAL" Key Lime pie after that!

I do know that the one at sunshine seasons was not good!

Love the key lime pie at Wolfgang Puck Express--but as far as I know it's only available at the West Side location. Flame Tree has a very good one, too.

The Key Lime Pie at Olivia's Cafe at OKW is the best that I have tasted on Disney property.

Well actually..............this is how I got into this mess. We were in Key West a couple of summers ago for one day, and after a full day of eating, swimming, walking, and sunset entertainment...we forgot to get Key Lime Pie at the Blond Giraffe.

So, as a little fun, we decided we would go to Old Key West at WDW when we visit this summer and eat key lime pie - father and daughter. But it doesn't look like it is on Olivia's menu which has led to this post. It won't be quite the same, but fun none the less.

I appreciate all the responses, now I don't know where to go. We might just sample all of them and report back later. :woohoo:

I've heard about the Blond Giraffe and want to go soooooooooo badly!!! I just don't want to drive 6 HOURS!!! to get there!!! PLEASE post which pie you liked the best! (That's my must have dessert!! and I've been picking ressies based on desserts, steaks and ribs! LOL!!)

We will definitely post the results. We have a new vacation challenge brewing for our summer visits. :yay:

Desserts, Steaks and Ribs - what a wonderful threesome.

Adding Yachtsman to the Key Lime Pie adventure. Can we just go in and get dessert during an off time, or would we have to make an ADR. I bet the server would be mad to just have a dessert order.

I wonder if I could carry a couple of pieces of pie out to Stormalong Bay!!!!

I cannot help with the Yachtsman, but DH went to Olivia's Cafe a few times in the afternoon to just have some coffee and some of their Key Lime Tart and they were only too happy to accommodate this.

This is very exciting. I am thinking that dessert hopping could kick up the excitement level a notch or two! I might have to dig into the rules about that.

We've had pretty good ones at both WPE and SS. Very good if you consider that they are both CS.

Here's a picture of the one from WPE.
