Keurig coffee maker?

Help! I have had my platinum Keurig for about a month now and this morning the computer on it is messed up. Has anyone ever had this happen? It took forever for me to get it to make a cup of coffee (I kept going to menu and when I thought I finally had it straightened out--it still wouldn't brew) then when I finally could choose the smallest cup size it poured me out the largest size. What could be wrong? I ran into one of my sons and he told me he had the exact same trouble earlier this morning.

Any ideas?

Yes, it is cheaper and better to have a French press. This is just a fun toy! DH won't give up the press...

Call their customer service! When I thought mine was making weak coffee because I didn't realize I made my previous cups so strong they overnighted me a new brewer! I just had to send them the little insert that you take out when using the "my k cup" cup, so now I have 2 brewers that work fine and just one of those inserts LOL! Great customer service though!!!!!

It looks like Costco may be the best deal with the converter thingy and the additional cups. This will be MY early Christmas gift ;) I also have a coffee press, but really fell in love with the Keurig. Thanks for all your opinions, I really love the dis boards:thumbsup2

I have my B50 for about 3 or 4 years, I love that thing, and so does everyone who comes over. I also had a little problem when I first got it and they sent me a new machine. Its been sitting unopened in my basement for when this one goes. I buy my boxes of the breakfast blend which I drink everyday from an coffee and water supplier for $9.99 for 25. That is still cheaper than BBB with the 20% off coupon. The boxes there have only 18 cups. I go to a local Gloria Jeans store for flavored coffee for my carousel. You can go in there and pick from what they have a buy single cups. A box of 25 will cost about $14 bucks, but I can pick what I like. I rarely drink the flavored coffees, but company loves it. Definitely get the machine, you will absolutely love it!

Watch QVC. They have done Keurig TSVs for the past two years around the end of Nov.

I got a sample Insider, and it says there will be a Keurig TSV on 11/29.

Here are some more details. 5 brew sizes (4 oz, 6oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz) and brewer comes in a choice of colors (cinnamon, black or platinum). Comes with 48 K-cup variety, a My K-Cup filter, and a water filter kit.

What is TSV??? I that the same as the platinum? What's a Insider...tyring to buy one for a gift and I have no idea....Lifelong Diet Pepsi drinker here and they only come in one brew......LOL

I have seen the Keurig's on sale on QVC. I have been tempted to purchase, but I am REALLY picky about my coffee. I only drink 100% Kona. Is it possible to get the 100% Kona coffees for the Keurig?

They have Kona BLENDS in the KCups but if you want 100% Kona I suggest you buy the "My K-cup" adapter and use your own coffee.

We love our Keurig so much that we bought a second one - the mini - just for travel.

LOVE IT!!!

Best use of my hard earned money!! Thinking about getting another one, because hubby took ours with him on deployment!!! and I am missing it almost as much as I miss him!

He did WHAT??!!:scared1:

 Jk of course, thank you and your husband for both of your sacrifices for our country!

OP, I bought the Ultimate from Sam's. (B66) It has a water reservoir (which you will definitely LOVE), and came with a water filter and 90 assorted K cups for $129. This was a much better deal than BB&B for me, even with the coupon. Amazon has K cups for the best deal I have found, if you sign up for the automatic shipping, it is discounted and free shipping. They come out to be around 37 cents each. I did use the BB&B coupon to buy the refillable cup, but I never use it!

I am enjoying a Kona blend by Coffee people now. I don't know if they have 100% Kona. The pumpkin spice by Timothy's is great!

Love my Keurig!

My favorite place to get K-cups is from Big Cat Coffees online as you can build your own "25 cup Purr-fect Packs" and you can mix-and-match 5 different varieties or flavors so you can try new ones without a big investment. We discovered just how yummy peach flavored coffee is this way... who knew peaches and coffee went together? :lmao: :thumbsup2

I have a Keurig too, and it gets plenty of use in our family. I don't recall the model name/number but it has 3 selection options. We use K-Cups, but also have the adapter to use whatever loose coffee we want. I don't drink a lot of coffee, and DH is the main user in our household, but DS and I love it to heat hot water for hot chocolate and tea. I recently had some co-workers over for a breakfast meeting at my house and this machine got lots of oohs and aahs.

Love My Keurig!

Best money spent ever. I will say it is large on the counter, and I think if you are used to drinking POTS of coffee at a time. it might not be the best deal.

I use mine for coffee and tea both. I hesitated a long time before spending the money, but it was so worth it!

Wow, does anyone not like it? lol

The best deal I saw was through Kohl's. The big one was $40 off on sale, plus 30% if you had a Kohl's card. I've see the deal twice over the last month or so. Maybe it'll come up again.

My Keurig is the best appliance I have ever bought. Absolutely love it. Don't miss cleaning the pot, dumping out wasted coffee and having to settle for instant decaf when everyone wants regular perked. Buy my coffee from www.coffeeforless. It's a little time consuming when you have lots of people over, but I saved my old pot for those occassions, but it seems everyone is willing to wait for the Keurig if they can pick out their own blend.

K anyone give me a quick run down of the benefits of going with the bigger machines vs the mini one? We don't have a lot of counter space.

Nevermind, I looked it up myself! They have a great website. They have a heavier duty office one for only $129...

Another Keurig fan! I LOVE mine! I think the model with a reservoir is a must, otherwise you're constantly waiting for the water to heat for each cup. We also do hot chocolate and teas-love the teas! I've ordered my k-cups from Big Cat Coffee, but bought the machine from Target.

A friend had one. I didn't care for it.

I grind and brew my own lattes every morning and am very picky about my coffee. I like double shot espressos with my lattes.

The other thing I didn't like is that the coffee ends up costing over .50 per cup if you pay full price! For just a regular cup of coffee! And the coffee isn't even that great. If I drink only regular brewed coffee I have at least 2-4 cups per day.

I have a very nice espresso/cappuccino machine and wouldn't trade it for anything! :thumbsup2 I got it used and it works great: http://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KT...1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1256686221&sr=8-1

If I were on a budget I would get the Mukka Latte though as I have heard they work pretty well. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_4...s=mukka+express+cappuccino+maker&sprefix=mukk
