I fell in love with this at a recent gathering and really really want one. Does anyone have experience with these? Where could I get the best deal? I see Bed Bath and Beyond has it for 139.00 and I could always use the 20% off coupon making it about $112. Also, are there generic coffees and cocoas that can be used with these? Thanks!:thumbsup2

It's the BEST purchase I've made all YEAR!!
I have'nt found generic k-cups, but you can purchase an adapter for 15 bucks that lets you use whatever coffee you use in a regular coffee maker. I did the Bed Bath and Beyond coupon for mine and dont regeret it at all! No waste of coffee! No clean up! LOVE IT!!! Also, when you register your brewer online you get two free boxes of coffee form their site when you buy two (plus free shipping). I save the coupons and buy my coffee from BB&B. Beware, you'll drink more coffee than you used to!!
don't hesitate! :surfweb:

A lot of us got them as a part of a Green Mountain Coffee House Party incentive last February. I think we had to sign up for the Green Mountain Coffee club and had to buy 4 boxes of the K-cups as a part of the deal. It cost about $33. I doubt that you'll find a deal quite as good as that one was! They even sent a huge box of extra K-cups for and a bunch of calendars and travel mugs for our party guests.

I love my Keurig but I alternate between it and my Tassimo. There is a My K-cup that you can fill with your own coffee grounds. I don't care for the coffee that it makes as much as some of the other K-cups.

You may want to keep your eyes peeled for the smaller version. I saw one at Target this week. It's $89.99 and if you can find a discount link (like thru AAA, Entertainment Book or Borders Rewards) you could get a little more off the price. Maybe the same model is available at BB&B or Kohl's?

We have the B70, love it, but it took me a few to find coffees that were close to what I used to make in my regular coffee maker (double strength flavored Dunkin Donuts, refrigerated overnight before drinking :rotfl2:). Eventually I gave up on replicating what I was used to and searched for keurig styles I liked, and now have a small arsenal.

Deals vary by machine and what you want in yours. I've seen models as low as 99 without any sales, so decide what model you want first and then start hunting for the deals. For us we wanted the larger reservoir, the variety of cup sizes, and I love the fact that we have it programmed to turn on when we wake up so it's ready to go as soon as I get there.

They have a special insert thing called "my K cup" which you can use any type of coffee in, and it does work very well, so you could use your current favorite in there. I couldn't get mine to be as strong as I liked so I gave up and looked for the regular k cups to use. I think the cocoa k cups are weak and much prefer to just make hot water with the machine (run it with no cup in) and then mix in my own cocoa packets.

Anyhow we do love our keurig, and have turned many people we know onto them. Our schools PTO even bought 3 for my kids preschool to save the teachers the trips they made (a few times a day) to go get coffee off site. The teachers supply their own k cups and can stay in school and enjoy their break time without running all over town for a good cup o' joe.

I got mine for $79.99 at a Weis grocery store in the spring. I love it! I'm going to get one for my mom for Christmas. I'm keeping my eye out for a good deal. I might get it a Kohl's or BB&B or Target. I get my K-cups through the Amazon Subscribe and Save program. I had the refillable cup and I didn't like it. The Amazon price is right around the same per cup as BB&B with a Q, but without the hassle of going to a store! Good luck in your search, let me know if you find a great deal! You won't regret buying it!

Watch QVC. They have done Keurig TSVs for the past two years around the end of Nov. I've had mine for 2 years and absolutely love it! I just got 3 boxes of 18 K-cups at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $20 (usually $10 each, but I had a $10 off $30 coupon).

LOVE IT!!!

Best use of my hard earned money!! Thinking about getting another one, because hubby took ours with him on deployment!!! and I am missing it almost as much as I miss him!

Jennifer

I have seen the Keurig's on sale on QVC. I have been tempted to purchase, but I am REALLY picky about my coffee. I only drink 100% Kona. Is it possible to get the 100% Kona coffees for the Keurig?

I just saw it at cosco for $139.99 with 72 kcups and the my kcup filter pod to make your own k cups (I think that's usually $15). I want one so bad but dh keeps telling me no, we have a coffee pot!

I saw this too! Next paycheck...its mine!!!!

I bought the mini one on QVC for my MIL as an early Christmas gift. She is loving it!

The Keurig makes wonderful tea (I prefer mine iced) and hot chocolate, too. We've had ours for about a month and have considerably cut down on our diet soda consumption! We highly recommend it; although it is another appliance on the counter!

I got mine for my DH for his birthday, i got it at BJ's it was on sale for $119 and it had 72 free k-cups. We use it every day. We also got the adapter, so we can use regular coffee.

We've had our B60 for almost two years now (got it at Macy's by stacking discounts to get it almost down to half price!) and I LOVE it! I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee, so I was forever throwing out half-pots... with the Keurig, I only make and drink one cup a day.

I get my K-cups through Amazon's Subscribe and Save program. If you like your coffee strong, I recommend Timothy's Extra Bold cups.... it tastes much more like the coffee I would make in my regular pot. I also have the My Keurig cup, but I really hate using it. I find the coffee is weak and often has grounds in the bottom of the cup. However, I'm currently using up the glut of whole bean coffee that has somehow found itself in our house from gifts and free deals and such. To compound that problem, I'm off caffeine until I run The Goofy (the WDW half marathon AND marathon) in January - my heart rate skyrockets when I have caffeine so I have to give it up when I'm training for an event - and so my Keurig has been sadly neglected these past couple months. :sad2:

Anyway, I consider my Keurig to be a fantastic purchase, and actually a money-saver! It's cheaper for me to brew a k-cup than to brew a whole pot and throw 2/3 away, or to buy my coffee out!

Got mine at WalMart for $99.98 with 10% off cuz' my hubby works for Wally World. I love trying the different kinds of coffee.:surfweb:

In the minority here, I know...

But I would suggest that if you want to experience really good coffee, skip the pricey K-cup system and pick up a Bodum French Press. You can get a good French press pot for between $15 and $35 (depending on size), and it is very quick and easy to use. I looked at the Keurig system at one point... but really didn't want to be so tied into using those pre-packaged K-cups (plus I like the taste of a select, single origin coffee cupped from a press pot a lot better--the actual brewing process really does impact flavor & mouth feel a great deal). :surfweb:

I love it, and I love coffee. It has really saved me $, because it prevents me from stopping at starbucks (5 blocks from my home). I always had expensive, stainless steel carafe style coffee makers, but I still had to nuke the coffee in the afternoon.

We have the Keurig with the water resovoir that makes 5 different sizes (including iced coffee).

I love it!! I bought it on sale at BBB, plus a 20% off coupon. :)
