Keurig coffee brewer; is it good?

I really like the coffee that the Kuerig makes, but ....I'm current waiting for my third replacement brewer to be delivered. Got my first at Costco - it konked out after 10 months. Kuerig replaced it with a Platinum last May. That one quit working last Monday.

If you search the web, you'll find that this is not an uncommon problem. If you buy one, make sure you register it on the Kuerig website.

THANKS EVERYONE!!! I'm going to buy one today! One last question before I go shopping; Is there more than one model? Or just one?

Put me in the love mine Club too. And QVC is having it as a TSV soon not sure on the date I just got a early email on it.

For the cocoa give the kcup a upside down tap on the counter first.

I've never had a problem with it? I use everything from Starbucks to Folgers and Maxwell House. I usually buy French Roast, but I also have some store brand decaf that works fine too.

I've noticed that you can't fill it too full, where it comes out the hole when you screw the top on to the filter. Do you get grounds in your cup? That might be why.

Thanks. Some grounds in cup, but my problem with it was that it was just lame, weak. I will try it with less coffee.
I wondered if it was too finely or too coarsely ground.

Yes, in a lot of cases, it's not so much is the brewer good, but will the brewer last. I'm on my third one too. Not one of mine has lasted longer than a year. Kuerig has fantastic customer service, but it would be nice to not need them so often.

FWIW, all three of mine have been the Platinum model. The pump went out in the first two, and I'm holding my breath on my third one.

I would highly recommend checking out their FB page.

yes it is good. but i think its mainly for the people who doesnt drink a whole pot of coffee just has one cup. if you drink a lot it will cost you

I have always had that problem with the hot chocolate. It doesn't brew completely. Try shaking the k-cup up first before you put it into the machine. It doesn't always help, but sometimes it does. After brewing, if there is any powder left in the cup, just take the top off and spoon out the rest and mix it into your cup.

I don't buy the k-cup hot chocolate for that reason. Too expensive to have to mess around with it. I just use the Swiss Miss packets and brew the hot water through the machine.

Thanks.
After I finish the box, I might just follow your suggestion.....

My machine is very new. I've only brewed a few k cups in it. There seems to be a funny (plastic?) taste to the drinks. Has anyone had this problem with anything brewed in the Keurig? If so, what have you done about it?
