Hi!
I did the ketogenic diet for my daughter while we were at Disneyworld. We were there for 7 nights and I kept her in high ketosis the entire time. Her ratio was 4.2 which is an extremely high ratio but we didn't slip up once. The most work for me was the planning or thinking it out in my mind how I was going to do it. We drove from Philadelphia so I ran the diet on the road also. Even the hotel in downtown Disney gave us a refrigerator in the room without the nightly charge. We went to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and I had called them and talked ot the manager and they did not charge us for her at the dinner, she did not consume anything at the meal but her own keto diet, I had a note form the neurologist. I bought all these plastic containers that had sections that would hold the whole meal. Almost all the work was done before I left. I weighed and cooked all the chicken and pancakes and bacon, the cheesecake meal etc. I weighed out the whole meals in the containers and froze it before I left. The only thing not in the meal was the heavy whipping cream and I would put a note in each meal, because it varies at times how many grams of whipping cram I needed to add and I would mix that with the diet soda at the meal. I had called the supermarket in Orlando to see what percent whipping cream they had. I have to say once we got there I didn't have much work to do with it, it was all done. The food courts had microwaves, like Port Orleans food court. In the park I would ask them to microwave the container and also at table service and they always did. I made the jello cookies before I left and had them all in individual baggies. I carried alittle cooler with me but also the first aide station would hold the meal until we needed it but most times I just used the cooler. I did have a hand mixer in my purse for the whipping cream and I did get a strange look from the security guard as we went through security in the morning, I said to him, don't even ask what that is for!!!!!!!, he giggled!!! My e-mail is Pamandkimmy11@aol.com. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

We did many day trips to DL when my son was on the Keto Diet (1999-2001). We carried a note from his neuro in the cooler at all times for any questions. We never had any problems with security. Our biggest problem was remembering to stop and eat/drink because we were having too much fun and lost track of time.

Good luck to you. Hope the diet is helping!
