I had no clue KFC was in so many nations. The Colonel needs to bring KFC to the Amazon, so those remote cannibal tribes can eat a six piece with biscuit instead of, say, ME.

They are actually quite popular in some other countries. In Japan they are commonly sought for a Christmas dinner as they are seen as very American and kind of like turkey I guess, so people reserve their buckets for Christmas.

I know people from China who insist that KFC in China is much better than in the United States. Probably a difference in the type of chicken.

My first thought was well, you're holding the chicken with your fingers to eat it anyway, so what difference does it make if you lick your fingers? But I guess maybe the idea is that you're going to lick chicken grease off your fingers and then go touching other stuff and contaminating it for everyone else. I guess I can see that, but honestly, just add that to the incredibly long laundry list of gross things humans do with their hands and then touch stuff with them. As if this slogan going away is going to make any difference.

Personally I've always hated the slogan anyway because finger licking really grosses me out. Especially when people make that smacking noise when they do it.
