Just reading posts on Rum Point Beach Excursion and saw you were on the 4/10 and were going to go and report back. I really want to book this for our August trip. How was the Disney excursion? Hope you had a great time and returning to the real world was not too painful.

am also wondering about this excursion, is there any decent snorkeling? Was the beach nice? Thanks

Our family went to Rum Point in January. You can book it w/ a stingray snorkeling tour or just stay at the beach. The beach was beautiful, but not real big. We didn't take part in the stingray city part, but had done that before, that is really cool. My husband and son snorkeled just right off of the beach saw a few stingrays and other fish. My husband also found some conch shells(but you can't keep them). They serve you lunch outside on picnic tables, food such as, fish and chips, hot dogs, burgers, ... It was delicious. The only negative is that it doesn't end up being a very long time at the beach because you take a 10 min bus ride to catch a ferry then a 45 min ride one way. The last tender to get back to the ship leaves at like 4:30.
