We will be bringing our Maltese with us camping the last week of may. He will need to be kenneled during the day. I have a couple questions for those of you with experience.
1) We park hop alot, so, if we go to Animal kingdom in the morning and want to move to MK for the EMH night can we change kennels during the day? If we do, do we pay an extra charge or is it like parking and do you just show your receipt from the kennel? The plan is to go to a park in the morning pick him up and go back to camp to rest, then go to a different park in the evening.
2) We are going to US for 2 days. Would you take him to the US kennel or leave him at Epcot kennel and pay the extra dog walking fee? I've heard great things about disney kennels, and have not been able to find much about the US kennel.
Thanks,
Heather

Why not just use the kennel at FW rather than moving between kennels? Check him in in the morning as you leave and check him out when you stop by for your rest time. Then, just drop him back off on the way out in the evening.

The only day that you may have a problem is the US days which may be a little longer, but for a small extra fee the FW kennel will now walk your dog for you.

In the past if we got back late (after the FW kennel closed) the folks at the front desk were always willing to walk over to the kennel with us to get Natasha out.

I agree with Tim. We check our beagle into the FW kennel in the morning, return around lunch time to walk him, then pick him up again in the evening when we return for dinner. If we are staying late, I just make another trip over to walk him at dinner time, then arrange to pick him up later. Like Tim said, if the kennel is closed, just stop over at the desk at the reception outpost and someone will walk over with you to retrieve your pooch. Just have your paperwork with you to prove ownership. Moving from kennel to kennel seems like a lot of unnecessary work to me. :moped:

Great, thanks everyone.
I was worried that when we did EMH we wouldn't be able to get him out of FW that late. Thanks for the tip about the reception outpost helping get him out late.
