has anyone organised a trip to kennedy space centre from one of the disney hotels including transport? is it best to book a package either here or locally or book transport and tickets separately. Any recommendations gratefully received Gill

I know when we looked in the travel centre at the Mercado they were offering coach trips to kennedy from I-drive. I am sure they must also go from some Disny hotels but I am not sure how you would go about booking them. When do you go? If it is after January we could try and find out details for you while we are out there.

Why don't you do a search on trips/excursions.. I bet there are loads of companies that do trips to Kennedy Space Centre.. its certainly worth going to see!! Good luck .. if I find anything... will post it for you.

Hi Gill,
Hopefully we are planning on going to Kennedy Space Centre when we go to Disney next year.I phoned Mears Transportation in Orlando to find out how much a return journey would be.They said it is $30 for adults and children but under 4s go free.They run trips on Monday,Wednesday,and Friday.You can book the day before you want to go.They pick you up at the hotel at approx 8.30am and return from Kennedy at 6.00pm.If you would like to phone them the number from the UK including dialling code is 001 407 423 5566.The other thing you could do is go to www.orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk and click on Kennedy Space Centre where they do transportation and admission deals.Hope this is of some help.

We are booking it with Going Places through Keith Prowse. As we are not going until Sep 2007 it is not available to book until the end of next week. Prices are not confirmed either, but it will be around £48 per aduly and £38 per child. All transfers are included, but you have to make your own way to one of several pick-up points on I-Drive.

hiya gill thats one thing i want to do when were are out in dec i was just going to see if there were are buses when we got there i did hear that mears do a service and its somthing like $15 a return (don't quote me on that tho).
