We've booked our honeymoon to Orlando for November:banana::banana:

How long should I allow for touring Kennedy Space Center? Would we be able to get back for a 7.30pm Fantasmic showing and still have seen everything?

Thanks!

how are you getting there?

we went with a touring company and were picked up early and was dropped off at Downtown Disney around 7.30pm.

We are going to take my parents there in December - I feel very sorry for me, I find it very dull there!!!! :rotfl2:However I know most people enjoy it! We have done it before . . . I would estimate we did the majority of it within 5 hours. I think there are a couple of different I-max shows so depends if you want to see them all. There is also an additional tour out to various locations which obviously would add to the time needed. We only went because there was meant to be a launch . . . it got cancelled and I was stuck there!!!!

Both times we have been there (once we did a bus tour there and the other time we had a hire car and drove) we spent a full day there and still got back in time for a 7:30 dining reservation at one of the disney restaurants. I would recommend getting there for when it opens as by the time you have taken the bus tour, seen the imax and gone in the simulator it doesn't actually give you much time to look at the other things there.

we could easily have spent two days there....but it was too hot for us to go for too long....
in any case, when is closing time? 5?

Dad said he could have spent days there, depends what you want to see I suppose, me.... Nothing:lmao:

If it was for a 7.30 ADR I would have said no problem. Fantasmic might be more of an issue because of the additional time needed to get into the show.

If you are up and there almost for opening you could be done around 4pm which might give you enough time to get back. The drive is about 1hr 15mins ish

I really enjoy KSC and want to go back again as we didn't have long enough there last time (we didn't get out early enough in the morning!)
