She just finished her interview with Charlie.

He asked her how she was going to make it to "Live" in time and prepare.

She said she's just going to grab a donut and go.

I'm sorry, but that women HASN'T HAD A DONUT IN MONTHS!!!

They showed a clip from "Hope and Faith" and she's so thin, the skin on her chest was wrapping around her bones. :(

Why do these stars feel they must look like they're wasting away?

I don't know why, but I do agree, I think she is very thin compared to when she was on AMC. Maybe because she works so much? I have no idea, but her days must be cram packed with interviews, photo shoots, meetings, ect.

I've kind of wondered about her myself. She swears she doesn't exercise and she's always talking about what she ate and drank (including Margaritas). I'm sorry, but that body doesn't look like one that is naturally thin - you can usually tell those few lucky people. She's got to be doing something! She does talk about how she never cooks - she's got some kind of meal delivery service or a chef.

I never see her on live, but I do know on her last couple of years on All My Children, there was a lot of talk about her weight there too. She was very very thin then. She said the same thing then, that she eats whatever she wants and doesn't try to be that way. I thought she was too thin back then (but then again, I think that of a lot of people on TV and movies).

I have to say I don't really follow her to know if she is that skinny or not, but my sister is skinny like that and she does eat whatever and not exercise. It is in her genes (unfortunately I got my father's side), she has been this way all of her life (she has 2 kids and went home from the hospital in her regular clothes). I have heard comments made about her and I know they are not true. So maybe Kelly really does eat whatever and not have to worry about it.

I wanted to edit this to add that when I say my sister eats whatever, I don't mean she pigs out all the time. For the most part, she eats very healthy - Special K for breakfast, salads, etc., but she can wolf down a big mac and fries and not have to worry about it.

I think she was just born that way...skinny and a great metabolism.

She a very busy woman. She's had 3 kids. She's constantly talking about eating and her lack of exercise. I highly doubt she's lying.

The one part that made me doubt her slightly (now don't get me wrong, I've been a HUGE fan of hers since her first day on AMC with the jet black wig) was that she did not used to look like that on AMC. She was on over 10 years, and it was only the last couple that she was really thin. I still think she's adorable and hilarious though.

Exactly. She's running herself raggad. For years, she was not bone thin.

She really should eat a few more donuts!

I watch Regis & Kelly almost daily, I love the host chat (that's about all I watch). She is very thin, but I have heard talk on many occassions about her love for McDonald's & junk food in general. Some people are just very thin, Heather Locklear, Sarah Jessica Parker are 2 that come to mind. I've also heard her talk about "hate mail" that she got when she was pregnant with her 1st child because she gained so much weight. Maybe she's worried about getting more hate mail & I think with her busy life & 3 kids she probably just doesn't eat like she should. But I agree, she could stand to gain 5-10 pounds.

Why do people always give thin folks a hard time? Why would she lie?

I've always been naturally thin and eat like a pig--anything I want and little exercising. I've actually had people ask if I was bulimic. Umm...no, but thanks for asking.

When my younger sister had cancer, she started out thin and lost even more weight. Complete strangers came up to her and made comments. She finally got to the point where she would just flat out say, "I have cancer. Chemo treatments make me lose weight. Get over it."

I also watched her on AMC since the beginning and she was not naturally this thin. She was probably average weight. She did lose alot after baby #1. I see R&K every day here at work, and she is really unhealthy looking to me - esp. compared to her on AMC 10 years ago! I hate those bones sticking out on her chest - they freak me out!

I watched Regis and Kelly the first time yesterday in a long time. She was giving Regis some grief about not attending something. She had a bunch of pictures with celebrities and they were holding cards that said "Where's Regis".

She was on one of the pictures with someone and she was wearing the same outfit that she wore the previous evening. She just starting laughing and said, "I am so shameless".

It sort of suprised me, wouldn't you think she has a huge wardrobe to pick from.

Yes, she is tiny but I don't think she looks ill. She was a guest on David Letterman and he was in a weighing guests kick so she got on the scale and was 98 or so. She's also 5'1" so I don't think that is extremely low. Personally, I thought she was absolutely beautiful when she first joined Regis with her hair light brown. I don't care for the pale blonde look but I think her weight is okay.

I haven't watch Regis in a while, so I just turned it on to see what you were talking about.

She doesn't look THAT thin to me??? I mean, her arms are not bone thin and she still has her round face??? Maybe it's the outfit???

Actually she has. ;) A month or so ago she chowed down on powdered donuts, trying to break a record. :teeth:

I think she looks wonderful for a woman who has had 3 children. Her face doesnt look too thin or drawn, so I would guess shes ok.
In her defense about the chest bones, when Im at my lowest weight I do have certain bones that stick out a bit. Im not anorexic or anything, not by any means, but I lose weight in certain places. Trust me, youll never see my hip bones sticking out, but you may see chest bones at times. ;)

Disney4us2002, she was on David Letterman about 3 monthes ago & he weighed her then too. She said that she was around 114, but when weighed, she was 108. In my opinion, 10 pounds is a big weight loss (in that time frame) for someone that size - if she's 98 now.

Don't forget, our bodies change as we age. Also, the first time she was weighed on Letterman she was still nursing her youngest. That might have something to do with the weight changes.

Personally, I don't really care about Kelly Ripa's weight. I have more than enough of my own problems in that area to worry about. LOL!

No, no, I defer to your memory KristiKelly, I thought she weighed in the high 90's but if she was 108 that is probably right. My memory stinks, lol.

I too thinks she looks thin but not dangerously thin.

I also thought she looked strikingly beautiful as a light brunette. The blonde tends to wash her out.

She is one funny gal.

There is a difference between thin and underweight. You can be thin and look healthy. Kelly doesn't. When I was in college, I weight 98 lbs and 5 feet. But I wasn't starving myself and my ribcage wasn't poking out. I just have a small body frame. If you look at those extremely thin women, you can tell their bones are sticking out and they look tired. Maria Shriver, the Olsen sister, that OC girl, all look very malnutrition.
