I just started Kellogg's Family Rewards (I buy a lot more Kellogg's stuff than I realized!) Just wondering how others convert it to Disney savings - gift card selections are fairly slim and I was hoping for something I could use on our next trip. Obviously I could use it to save money and put the saved money away but wondered if there were any GCs that cycle through to look out for or other tips to get the best use.

I really like Kelloggs Family Rewards. I usually use my points to buy Starbucks gift cards, which you can now use at the Starbucks in Disney World. I heard our people get coupons to save money on groceries, but they often send me free coupons anyway. I also get a decent amount of Shutterfly deals, like 8x8 photo books or calendars. And, we have received free Opi nail polish, movie tickets, and kids books by collecting the codes.

Starbucks GCs. You can use them at the SBX locations in the MK and Epcot. You could also get Old Navy GCs (for vacation clothes, flip flops, hats, bags) or an Applebee's GC for offsite dining. Or there are iTunes GCs which you can use to purchase music or movies to keep you entertained during your flight or car drive.

I prefer to use them to get high-value coupons. I find that it's a better use of my points. Each coupon can be printed twice and stores in my area double their coupons up to 99¢, so I order the 75¢/1 coupons and save $3 for every 500 points I spend (as opposed to 6,600 pts. for a $5 SBX GC). Plus, I get additional KFR points that I roll into more coupons.

As an example, I spent 1,000 points to get 2 orders of 75¢/1 cookies/crackers coupons. That's a total of 4 coupons. A local grocery store was selling their Keebler cookies for $1.99/pkg PLUS you got a catalina for a free gallon of milk if you bought 4 pkgs. of cookies in a single order. So, I bought 4 pkgs. of cookies, paid a total of $1.96 for the 4 of them and will get free milk on my next visit. So I got a lot for my 1,000 points and less than $2 cash from my pocket. The cookies went to the food kitchen and I still came out ahead of the game.

I just wanted to give this thread a little Labor Day Weekend bump. There's a freebie code that's good for 50 pts.
FREEPTSFROMERNIE

Also, don't enter any codes that you might have until Sept.2. If you enter 4 codes between 9/2-9/4/14, you will get a bonus of 400 pts. There is a limit of 2 bonus offers per account (i.e. enter 8 codes and you will get 800 bonus pts.!).

Thank you for the code! I am saving my rewards hoping to find a good way to use them!

I did Starbucks from pamper rewards. We are done with diapers and wipes. The points were just sitting there. I ordered 2 $5 GC and to my surprised they sent me an extra $10 GC with a note to enjoy the added bonus. We ended up using just one on the trip at downtown Disney. We used the 2nd one at a rest stop on i95 in NJ for supper. Sandwich and fruit cup. It was well worth it.

For those who have cashed in for Starbucks, is there an expiration date on those cards?
The Starbucks GCs have no expiration date.

And here's another code for everyone. This one is good for 100 bonus points (good through 9/8/14):

And don't forget that if you enter 4 codes between 9/2/14-9/4/14, you get a bonus of 400 points. You can do this twice (entering a total of 8 codes for a total of 800 bonus points). :thumbsup2

BUMPING THIS
to see if anyone was going after the Kellogg's Storyboxes to enter to win one of the trips to Disney? Lucky for us, we eat cereal on a pretty regular basis and we usually buy those kinds anyway!
Anyone else trying for this? And does anyone have any information about where they set up the accommodations other than just "standard room view"?

I got one of the boxes and I entered but I didn't see info on where the room would be.

Did anyone else get the Monster Match Up Surprise email? You have to click on the spiders to get your surprise. I have 4 spiders bouncing around my email but only two give me part of the code. Has anyone else found the whole code?

So far, I have FRIG HTNI.

ETA: I found it. The code FRIG-HTNI-GHTB-ONUS gives you 50 bonus points and expires 11/03/14. I was at Walmart, yesterday, and saw that they have marked down the Kellogg's cereals with the character carved pumpkins on the box to $2.00 each.

Here are a few more codes:
  • TWITTERSURPRISES: 100 points
  • ENTERNOW4REWARDS: 100 points
  • REWARDSPTSJUST4U: 100 points
  • KFRTRICKORTREATS: 25 points

I'm not sure when they expire but the were good today!

Thanks so much!! I was able to use all of them!

Just an FYI Christmas's tree shop had some Disney snacks Down to 1.00. These came with the special rewards code where u get 3 packs for a 5.oo off Disney blue ray coupon.

FYI- I normally redeem my points for the coupons and was able to print 2 coupons each time. They must have changed something, because you can only print one now. :(

As for using it for Disney, you could always use the coupons to get snacks, or breakfast to eat in your room!
