Found this on another Forum and I thought you'd like to see it. The holiday season normally means that people go and and buy plants for their Decorations. However, some plants are dangerous to most types of animals including Cats, Dogs, Hamster, Rabbits or more. Please check the following link to see if any plants you have bought for the holiday seasons (or even all year round) are toxic to animals:
http://www.torontohumanesociety.com/adopt/petcare/poisonplants.asp

Some examples and their toxic areas:
Mistletoe- berries
Holly- berries

Thanks. :thumbsup2

Thanks Matt,

Pointsetta (sp?) the big red flowers are esp toxic.

Same too goes for chocolate and grapes (watch those advent calanders).

One other thing to watch is that christmas tree needles can stick into paws!

Have a safe and merry christmas everyone

Someone pointed that out to me, but I had no clue what they were. I haven't ever seen one before.

Going to quickly google this now. :)
