Keep or cancel lunch at Le Celier?

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or not, but the main dilemma involves a restaurant, so I'll go with here. I have a 11:30 lunch reservation at Le Cellier for Dec. 30. This was supposed to be one of our Epcot days, but since the reservation was made, it has turned into a DHS day. (We'll be spending all day New Year's Eve in Epcot as that is where we want to watch fireworks that night, and also have a few hours in Epcot a couple other days as well.) We have park hoppers, so my question is: Should we go to DHS at rope drop, stay there until about 10:30, head over to Epcot, eat, then go back to DHS for the rest of the day? BF really wants to spend a lot of time at DHS, and we won't have time any other day. Or should we just cancel the lunch at Le Cellier? I've never been there before, and really want to eat there, and feel very lucky to have a reservation as we just booked our ADR's last week (this is a last minute trip). There are NO other open reservations for Le Cellier while we are there.

If we do leave, we'll probably take the bus to Epcot or walk, so I'm thinking anywhere from 20-30 minutes traveling time. But, should I even leave DHS and risk not being able to get back in? Is DHS likely to close to capacity the day before New Year's Eve? So many variables in the decision!

What would you do?

Well, I personally would just stay at DH. I wouldn't be willing to give up so much time for a restaurant in another park.

That's just me though. I do see that lots of others go back and forth between parks and are fine with it. It just adds a level of waiting and extra travel time I don't want to deal with.

We have Epcot ADRs at Coral Reef, Tutto Italia, and Chefs for our upcoming trip. At some point, I was feeling sad about not having one at Le Cellier, but then I realized I was being silly. I'm very excited about the places we're scheduled to eat at, and we have several amazing steak places right here at home we can go to.

Do you have any other ADRs at Epcot that you're excited about? If yes, I wouldn't worry about giving up Le Cellier.

If you're willing to spend 30-45 min in travel each way, go for it. If not, then cancel. If you're quick walkers, you can walk from the main entrance at DHS to the World Showcase entrance at Epcot.

I personally would not be bothered to hop to Epcot for LeCellier on a HS day. That would probably eat 3 hours of park time. LeCellier is a pretty good restaurant, but certainly not the best at WDW, or even at Epcot IMHO. I would cancel if it were me.

We do it all the time. We mostly do it because we love the relaxing break of riding the boat from DHS to the back of World Showcase. I would never take the bus. You would have to walk all the way from the buses, into the park and then all the way across the park practically if you take a bus. The boat has 2 -3 stops before the back entrance and you could get off and walk from any of them if you so choose.
