Keep an eye on your points statements! (re: 5 pts mystery for BLT reservation)

I just checked my vacation details online (dvcmember.com) and noticed that my 79-point BLT reservation somehow turned into an 84-point reservation between check-in and check-out!

Not a big deal since the correct 79-point amount is still reflected on the points activity statement (no actual points are missing), but I gave MS a call and they were at a loss to explain it... they handed it over to IT to figure out.

Just thought I'd post it here in case anyone else has similar issues. Our 105-point Kidani reservation that adjoined our BLT reservation is correctly reflected all around.

This has happened to me on my last two trips, my points balance didn't change but the amount for the reservation did. MS told me this was a computer glitch (imagine that ) and they couldn't change it back but the extra points wouldn't be deducted from my account

What resorts did you stay at the last two times? Is this glitch a system wide problem? As long as MS doesn't charge any the extra points it should work out, but will make some of us worry wart times a bit nervous.

At one time I had 120 points mysteriously disappear from 2010. I called MS and went round and round until they figured out I couldn't have used any points from 2010 yet (happened in 2008 and as far as I know you can't use points from 2 years ahead). They had no clue why the points were dropped other than a "glitch".
