Kayaking Nature Tour in Freeport...

I was wondering if anyone has gone on the Kayaking Nature Tour in Freeport. I have read that there isn't much to do in Freeport .. but I do like to get off of the ship just to see new places and thought this excursion sounded like fun. I am a bit nervous though because I have also read about people getting left behind and I will have 4 teens who do not want to do the excursion and will be on the ship. I would hate to not make it back in time and have the kids panic because we are left behind. Do many people usually book this excursion?? I would feel much better going with a group. Also.. if it is usually booked up..would it be better to book the excursion now from home?.. we are cruising on May 19th. Thanks so much for any information sent out..

From the number of replies ... I'm thinking that this excursion doesn't get booked too quickly.... Maybe it's better to wait and book on the ship to see how many others are interested.

I asked this question repeatedly before our February trip, and never found anyone who had gone on this excursion. It sounded fun, but for the $$, I was hestitant to book it without any feedback before heading out. We ended up using that day as our "day of rest" and only ventured off the ship for about an hour to check out the straw market right at the port. Good luck and I am sure you will have fun with whatever choice you make!
