Most of the time, kayaks used on the Disney excursions are two person kayaks. We have 3 in our family, DH who is a daily kayaker here at home, DD who's kayaked at HH resort - maybe 5 times total, and me - never kayaked, scared of water.
When we show up, will I be paired with someone else's "odd man"? Are "odd man" and I a disaster waiting to happen if neither of us have kayaked? Am I going to get dumped in the mangroves and eaten by alligators? Crazy questions, I know, but I really want to go with them and I'm really worried. I need somebody who has at least a bit of a clue to be with me... and I'm sure I'm the last person any "real" kayaker is going to want to be paired with!
Anybody out there had this problem? How did you handle it?
