Did I see that right? There was just a promo on ABC for Eli Stone and it guest stars Katie Holmes! I must be seeing things! I thought she just.... retired. Afterall, she's already proven she's the most versatile, talented actress in the world. Just look at her resume!

Tom Cruise is just riding the coat tails of Mrs. Holmes.

I am not a huge fan of her's but I think you sound fairly bitter for some reason. For the last couple of months she has been rehearsing in NYC for her Broadway debut next week. She is also making cameos in a couple of series this season. Add to that taking care of their little girl and she sounds pretty busy to me.

No problem with her being happily married. The problem I have is she is hyped as some substantial actress and is now in big time demand, because... because of what? A show on the WB, some slasher flicks and one forgettable Batman sequel?

What's wrong with her acting? She's no worse than any others her age.

She has a large supporting role in "All My Sons" on Broadway. I saw it last week and she's done a more than credible job in her role.

The play itself is quite amazing.

I don't get the nastiness. She's married, she has a kid, she works. You don't see her name in the papers every other week for drunken binges or drug busts ... If she's in the tabloids due to speculation over her kid, I don't care. It's not like I put that much stock into what the National Enquirer has to say.

If you don't enjoy her, then by all means don't watch her.
