Huh? So they started dating in April 2005 and announced the pregnancy in October 2005. Suri was born in April 2006 so yes technically they were together a year but you aren't looking at the timeline properly.

In October 2005 Katie was about 12 weeks pregnant (3 months..give or take)..that means that when Suri was conceived Katie and Tom had been together for only 3 MONTHS as they started dating in April. It doesn't matter if at the time of her birth they were together for a year (barely) because Suri was conceived 9 months prior to that..as in 3 months into the relationship.

There is a vast difference IMO between being together a year before conception and being together a few months..there have been many a story of "early" babies because the pregnancy occurred prior to the marriage..just as there could easily have been a pregnancy when Katie started her relationship with Tom. It's not about how fast someone can get pregnant while dating but the fact that she had been in a long term relationship and it ended mere weeks before she started dating Tom. She could easily have been pregnant at that time, you see? She could have entered the relationship either knowing or not knowing and they decided to tell the public the child was Tom's.

Pregnant in July 2005 would equal baby in April 2006 as that is just shy of 9 months (and we know babies can come early/late so it isn't unreasonable depending on when conception occurred and when the birth occurred at all). I am not sure I understand what you are saying/stating here.

If it makes you feel better that the baby is Tom's then believe it. It isn't however remotely inconceivable that she was pregnant at the start of her relationship to Tom having just ended a long term relationship with her fiance just a few weeks prior to them (Tom/Katie) dating. What people are stating is that it isn't impossible she entered the relationship with Tom already pregnant. Honestly I don't have strong feelings either way in regards to what is likely..however I disagree that "being together a year" at the time of birth means it is impossible she wasn't pregnant by someone else.

If she had even a glimmer of resemblance to Cruise, I might be inclined to believe this.

However, there was so much controversy surrounding her birth at the time, such as she was too big for a newborn, Katie's baby bump changed in size up and down during those last 3 months and the ridiculous photo where you could see blond hair under Newborn Suri's, that there is reasonable doubt to her parentage.

And the fact that he blamed Nicole for their infertility problems, yet she easily conceived with her new husband.

There are actually lots of websites that talk about the theory that Suri was born much earlier than the public was led to believe. I don't think anyone believes Katie was pregnant for over a year. But there is surprisingly compelling "evidence" online that she may have given birth and then pretended to be pregnant for another few months so everyone would believe that Suri was Tom's. Even the birth certificate is somewhat suspicious, apparently. I love conspiracy theories so I've enjoyed reading about all of it. It's really fascinating!

No, it is widely surmised that Katie faked a pregnancy the last couple of months to perpetuate the myth that Cruise is her biological father, something I do not believe for a second.

He is certainly her father in every other sense of the word, but Suri carrying his DNA is highly doubtful.
