the comment on the show about resort specific merchandise made sense. one of my most treasured suvies is a cap with the original DVC logo on it that says Old Key West across the top, try and find that somewhere today. i got it during a stay there in.........ah..........2000? i have all the generic trademark merchandise you can shake a stick at and would scoop up stuff particular to resorts. dont get me wrong i am aware that there are some items available but not much. in june at POR i was looking for just such things and the only possibility with RIVERSIDE printed on them were long sleeve hoodies...........in JUNE........if i were to advise them...........which aint gonna happen......... i would suggest a harder push toward the resort within the resort feel and feature products unique to that area. good job. you have a way of breaking things down to the basics and that is always the foundation for rebuilding.

Glad to hear that someone else agrees with my theory. I can remember when I first started coming to Disney all the resort specific items they had. I couldn't wait for another trip to buy something.

Look at all the money you have saved! :goodvibes
Disney has done you a favor. Thank them for not emptying your wallet and cluttering your house.

We used to have a rule that you couldn't buy a resort t-shirt unless you had actually stayed there. I guess that wouldn't work now.

Along those lines, I don't like it when I pick up something at DLR and it says Disneyland on one side and Walt Disney World on the other! I didn't go to WDW and I don't want my things to say that. Once I bought a "mystery" pack of little miniture rides and chacters. Very cute, but it had several WDW items in it. Those mean nothing to me. At the very least they should be able to separate DLR from WDW. When I was shopping at the Disneyland Hotel I don't remember seeing anything special with that on it. There could have been, but if so, not much.
