~ Kate Plus Eight ~

They have both totally denied it. Just another rumor, born out of them saying they love the kids and want to get along for their sakes. Just more rag mag fodder, to get people to read, post and buy the mags.

OK, I KID YOU NOT … I am sitting here on my computer listening to SAN DIEGO KIFM 98.1 and the 8:30am News comes on …

The news announcer says "apparently it is being reported that Kate and Jon Gosselin have been missing each other and the kids are missing Jon and they are apparently thinking of "burying the hatchet" on any new shows and getting back together" …

OMG are.you.kidding.me … :headache:

When the News was over all the DJ's were all screaming … "please, please, ENOUGH OF THEM" … :thumbsup2

I cannot link anything as it was on the a.m. News.

Are there any more shows planned?

Who knows? It seems some "specials" are planned. The Gosselin kiddywinks are still being filmed. They are filmed when "off" from school (or away from school). And 2 are "homeschooled" so I guess they can film despite the fact that they have been withdrawn from school due to behavior problems. Give all those kids a break!

Running up steps in Philly, on location in Australia/NZ (missed several days of school for that), and at a supermarket . . . So that Kate can claim that she shops with her kids on a regular basis.

Very odd. I guess some of us will have to wait until April for whatever airs. Count me out. I don't want to watch this faked stuff.

I do want to watch developing legislation. That is the only thing that will protect these kids.

Whatever did happen to "Tweak of Kate?" That might be worth watching, because it would be Kate without the kids . . .

Buy?

Puh-lease...it's just reading material until the cashier gets to my order. They'll have to try harder than that to get me to buy.;):rotfl2:

Someone's buying them, or they wouldn't keep printing them. Maybe not you, but there are folks out there that do :)

Okay okay, once or twice I handed it to the cashier....maybe.

Just for the articles though--just for the thought provoking articles.:woohoo:

I knew it!!!! LOL!! You are the one keeping this going!!
:lmao:

I loved reading the 'intensely disklike' sites after the past two interviews. Mostly they talk about how fat Kate looked in the interviews, or that her legs were a little apart, or they don't like her hair, or of course how her and her bodyguard snuck out to eat (even though you can see 3 kids in the photo they are talking about). Man, I wish I was as fat as her LOL. I especially liked where they said that Kate said the camera men were like the kids dads, and they took that as an insult to sweet Jon. I went back and listened..she said the camera men are dads, and they enjoy the kids. But it was made to sound like she is trying to replace Jon with them. Those sites are a real hoot. So many jealous people over there LOL!!

I think it's really funny that the head of one of those sites was interviewed on one of the shows Kate was on, and wrote a book about the very kids she says she wants protected. And she brings people to gawk at them from the front of the house, says things about them and their parents, and copies articles in her book and on her site from the rag mags. It's just very interesting to me.

Just watched the newest episode...Kate always makes everything about herself, it's so ridiculous

Steve and Terri have absolutely beautiful and intelligent children.

I just loved the show. Everything about it was so heart warming. I think it was the best show I've seen in a long time. I loved Terri and her kids (oh my gosh what great kids..and I thought her remark about keeping her kids before the cameras was interesting) and how welcome they made the whole Gosselin family feel....kids and Kate. I think this was a wonderful experience and what an opportunity for the kids, they learned so much about the animals. I really want to go to Australia now, and that zoo. What a great show TLC put on tonight, and I'm sure it raised some awareness of what Terri and her family are doing! I don't care what family the show was about, I just loved it...all of it. It was very obvious the kids had a wonderful time...memories to last forever.

I loved tonight's episode. The Irwin's seem like such amazing people and really took the kids their wings to help them learn about the animals.

I am also so totally jealous of Kate. She got to hold a koala which is one of my favorite animals and pet a tiger, another favorite of mine.

OMG, did anyone watch last night? :headache:

OMG, Kate, "you are the bigggggggesssssttttt drammmmmmaaaaa queeeeeeeen of all time". That was absolutely PATHETIC the way she carried on up on the sky tower with the ST employee as well as the way she COLLAPSED into hysterics on the ground after her jump was over all in front of her very young impressionable children. :headache: :headache: :headache:

I missed it but I saw the preview for the sky tower after last week's episode. Kate is so ridiculous, isn't she? I'm going to have to catch it on re-run on TLC sometime this week.

The whole Skytower part of the episode with Kate was ridiculous. She is wayyyyyy to dramatic.

ITA! I'm usually more of a Kate supporter, but wow:scared1: What a mess she was last night. I thought it was hilarious when she was complaining to the guy that was helping them about if she was a paying customer she'd be able to walk 5 ft., and he interrupted her and said if you were a paying customer you would have been back in the building a long time ago:rotfl: I really thought it was hilarious. He wasn't buying her drama queenish crap. Her collapsing to the ground afterwards, was just insane. Maybe she really just is that scared of heights, but good lord. -Although I guess the decent thing, is that at least she recognized she was totally in the wrong and was the rude one. I hope she did write an email to that guy.

Having said that, I really did like her in Australia, she and the Irwin mom really did seem to hit it off, and she was much more normal.

I was going to look for this thread.

Seriously, most people would have some sort of adreninal rush, not a complete collapse. Her kids didn't even know what to do, except to walk over to see if she was okay. I can see maybe shaking, with tears, but not the howling crying she was doing. I don't know-maybe she was intensely scared, because she is afraid of heights, but suck it up and shut up. What a crazy melt-down. If that would of been Mady-she would of hugged her and not let her go on and on and on and on. No parent would let their kid howl like she did and she was the parent.:rotfl:

I missed the first 30 minutes-did they visit Steve's parents and family. I did glimpse Steve on the cat walk. But he didn't do the walk-a-round with them. Still think Steve and Kate are an item.

DMRick, I am wondering how you felt about this last show...? I am not trying to be confrontational. It seems that you often have a different perspective, and I just wondered how you felt Kate came across in this particular episode.

Personally, I feel she is very condescending when she refers to people as "Mr. Kiwi House Man," etc. Is it really that hard to learn someone's name and refer to them by it?

I felt that she shouldn't have jumped. I had no doubt that she would not do well. I would be peeing in my pants if I jumped (I did tower of terror once and I'm sure they could hear me scream in NY..I certainly know now to stay away from those types of rides). They must have paid her some big time incentive to get her to do it, or whatever doctor she is going to to get over her fears suggested she do it and it would help. I don't think she is a traditional drama queen..I think she truly is frightened of a lot of things, and I feel bad for her. I have a relative and a friend who both have panic attacks, and I think it might be good for Kate when she's going to be in these situations to take some meds to help her chill. I don't think there was any long lasting effects on the kids, as I think they are used to her fears. I'm glad to see they don't seem to have the same fears, as they can be pretty crippling. My relative is stuck near home, because she can not go over high bridges (or fly..she tried just once and it wasn't pretty)..she has the same meltdown that Kate had when jumping.

I don't get the second paragraph..I don't see it as condescending..I think she thinks she's being cute. I've never even noticed she does that.

I think the kids were pretty bored in most of this show..now I know I want to go to Australia, and have no interest in New Zeland.

I do enjoy very much hanging on other boards where people actually like her and the shows..it's a lot more fun than always hearing criticism, no matter what she does. And that's fine, if you don't like her and find something critical in everything she does, but it's nice to see the positive as well.

I was surprisde when someone posted her twitters and it sounded like she is still working on Twist of Kate. I also love that when gossip starts (like when on a hater site someone said she was a wimp because she wouldn't jump, and they were wrong, she did), she twitters about it immediately and has really taken the sails out of the paps.

That episode is currently running right now (I can hear it in the background) and my 9 year old DD is watching and after Kate's ridiculous meltdown at the bottom, she said "someone needs to slap that woman."

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl::lmao:

That's my girl!!
